Hi, I’m Theresa 👋

And this is Junior. 🐾

He’s not just my dog—he’s my best friend, my adventure buddy, and my partner in everything I do.

Through Junior, I discovered a passion for dogs that eventually led me to build businesses focused on helping pets and the people who love them.

Over the years, I saw just how many perfectly good pet items were being stored away, forgotten, or thrown out simply because they were no longer needed. That’s what inspired me to create Second Paw—a place where pet parents can donate, shop, and give pet products a second chance.

These brand-new Walkee Paws just arrived at Second Paw.

Unlike traditional dog boots, Walkee Paws combine leggings and paw protection in one piece to help keep paws clean, dry, and protected from rain, mud, snow, and salt.

We have multiple sizes and styles available and they’re still in their original packaging.

One of today’s Second Paw finds is this gently used pet stroller in excellent condition.

This stroller was originally purchased for Junior and was only used a couple of times before deciding it wasn’t something we needed.

What started as a simple observation while running Pawsitive Pawadise turned into something much bigger — perfectly usable pet items being thrown away while other pet parents struggled to afford the basics.

Second Paw was created to help give quality pet items a second life while making pet care more accessible, affordable, and sustainable for more families.

You can now donate gently used pet essentials through our growing network of Ontario drop-off locations.
