In case you were wondering… no, Ebby can never lay in her bed by herself because Ludeytudes will jump in with her immediately.

I love how patient she is with him and after a year, I actually think she likes having him around, she just waited for him to get into her round bed before she laid down. 😍😍😍😍

Hi all! 👋
My final event of the year is done and that means the Ready to Ship sale will start anew!

I’m spending tomorrow and possibly some of Friday uploading a ton of new things that will be on sale, with a few deeper discounts to look out for 👀

A reminder to all that there is a regular shipping option of $5 across Canada, with an option to choose expedited with tracking for $15. You can also pick up directly from me at my condo lobby downtown Toronto, just email me for that option!

During this season I will be going to the post office twice a week starting now until December 20. Try to get your orders in early so nothing is stuck in the Christmas rush with the post!

❄️Before I get into the deeper stuff, I did want to confirm with everyone that I will definitely be a vendor at the Canadian pet expo this coming weekend in Mississauga at the international Center. If you want to pick up a custom order at the event, email me or send me a message from my contact page by the end of tomorrow, latest. I will not be able to sew on the Saturday night between event days, so please get in your orders ahead of time, especially if it is Christmas themed. Thank you!❄️

hi all, I know I’ve been very MIA especially here for a few months now, and an update is in order!

I’ve been dealing with some major pain in my hands and arms this year, both carpal tunnel and tendinitis on both sides, so sewing, prepping items, writing, typing, etc. have all been very painful on top of my repetitive strain injuries and chronic illness.

I’ve also been going back to school, knowing that realistically, I can’t tax my hands the way that I have been for the last 17 years doing this job. Peachy Keen Pets is still going, I just won’t be doing as many events as I used to, and I will be cultivating my website more than wholesale to stores from here on out so that I can still keep this going for as long as possible while I build up something new that is less physically taxing.

To sum up, I am still making orders, and I hope to be able to make your holiday season peachy keen this year! I’m just a little slower than before due to the hand pain, so please get in any holiday orders early, knowing it may take a little time to make, as well as ship during this season.

Hoping I’ll see some familiar faces this weekend!

Pawlooza Day!

This event is always incredible every year no matter the weather, it’s in such a beautiful space on the Plunkett Estates in London, Ontario!

People have been asking me which events I’m attending this summer, and at this time I will only be at Pawlooza in London, ON mid August, and Fan Expo Toronto at the end of August. With my injuries and illnesses I’m not exactly sure if I will add more, so if you’re looking to order anything I would suggest going through the website or seeing me at one of those two events.

🏳️‍🌈I’ve been missing for awhile now and I’ll update on that in a bit, but we are halfway into pride month and I haven’t posted cute pics yet! What the heck? I wanted to share these great pics today of Sengen and Millie, we took these a few years ago and I love them so much! I heard recently that beautiful Sengen has crossed the rainbow bridge, and I wanted to share these in their honour 🖤

🏳️‍⚧️I will not have a booth at Pride this year, I’ve sadly been priced out of the streetfair, but if you’re in the area and want to pick up anything, I’m 2 blocks from the core of the festivities and you’re welcome to pick up at a pre-arranged time!

🏳️‍🌈I have 2 each made of my wide rainbow print, 1 each of my trans pride flag print, and a few here and there in rainbow paint and the knitted pride. If you want something I listed or hope I can make something by the weekend, please EMAIL not dm as early as possible, and I’ll see what I can do for you!

🏳️‍⚧️As always we will donate 20% of profits to LGBT Youthline, and I will donate 100% of the profits of any leftover HP stock I have.

It's been a long while since I introduced myself to the new people that follow Peachy Keen Pets, so it was due!​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
I'm Niki, the owner, designer, creator, seamstress one-woman show behind PKP. Mom to 2 black rescue pugs, Ebby and Ludo, self-proclaimed book nerd, and lover of all things dark and spooky! I started this business in 2009 after finding my chronic pain and disabilities from a bad accident too much to handle with my job at the time, so I came up with the idea, took some sewing classes, and jumped into a business course!​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
It's not always easy with this kind of chronic pain, illness and disability to run a business that depends on me measuring, cutting, ironing and sewing each piece, on top of marketing, events, shipping and everything else that comes with it! But I've been so lucky to still be around this long with so many wonderful people supporting me and the business through the years. ​​​​​​​​

When you shop small with an indie business like mine, you make a huge difference to the life of a person (and her pugs) and I just wanted to thank you all for being here, for sharing your photos, for telling your friends about PKP, for sharing our posts and showing me so much love when I see you in person. ​​​​​​​​
