Two major elections are about to start soon! On Sunday it’s Brazilian elections, and Monday it’s municipal elections here in Toronto. So I just want to remind you to go out and VOTE!

One of the main reasons I wanted to get my citizenship is that I can vote in Canada too, so I’m very excited that I can now be part of this! Brazil suffered a dictatorship that lasted 21 years! I still to this day know people who was tortured and in jailed just for protesting for democracy. So I will never take for granted my vote, and I hope you do too!
