Established in 2016 by Kris Koop, we are proudly Canadian and work hard to provide excellent customer service while also supporting pet rescues and community organizations. Blue Barn is more than a pet-store; we like to think of ourselves as a pet community, offering high-quality pet products for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles and small pets. We love all pets and hold a special place in our hearts for pets in shelters which is why we support local pet rescues with a variety of events throughout the year. We're 100% BC-owned and believe in making our communities better and stronger.

🐾 Your $20 calendar helps give young burn survivors a place to just be kids. 💙

One of the organizations supported by the Blue Barn Fundraising Calendar is the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund. 🧑‍🚒

Every summer, the Burn Fund welcomes young burn survivors to a week-long camp in Squamish, where they can have fun, make friends and connect with other kids who understand their experiences.

🐾 Here's what your support helps make possible:

⛺️ Burn Camp: It costs approximately $3,000 per child to attend, but thanks to donations, camp is completely free for every young burn survivor.

⛺️ Little Lionhearts: A family camp that helps burn survivors, parents and siblings connect, share their experiences and heal together.

🐶 Meet Benji: A very special dog who brings comfort to burn and trauma survivors, firefighters and their families staying at the Burn Fund's Home Away accommodations in Vancouver.

These programs give young burn survivors and their families opportunities to connect, find support and simply enjoy being together.

📅 The 2027 Blue Barn Fundraising Calendar is just $20, and 100% of the proceeds support rescues and community organizations across BC through the Blue Barn Community Cares Society.

Pick up your calendar at Blue Barn or order online and help us keep giving back! 👇

🍞 The Blue Barn Loaf Report

🐱 Subject: Munchie
🐾 This week's loaf comes to us from one of our Blue Barn followers!

📝 Judge's Notes:
Munchie is serving up a special delivery of Toasty Loaf, making sure your pizza stays warm! 🍕

He's in top form, head held high with feet tucked excellently. The tail position isn't visible, however, I'm willing to let this slide if a slice is sent my way... so long as there's no pineapple.

🍞 Loaf Rating: 7/10 pepperoni slices

✏️ Judge's Comment: An excellent loaf with strong pizza-warming potential. The lack of visible tail is concerning, but the judge can be persuaded.

👇 What would you rate Munchie's Toasty Loaf?

🐶🦴 Meet Grizzly!

This 2-month-old pup stopped by with his family to pick up a few things to help with his teething! 🦷

At this age, there's a lot of exploring and chewing to do! 😄

Thanks for visiting, Grizzly! 🐾

🎉 Help us celebrate Cat on her 1-year Blue Barn anniversary! 🎉

As Store Manager, Cat helps keep the team organized, focused on priorities, and empowered to take ownership of their work.

At home, Cat has two four-legged adventure buddies! Dodge, her 2-year-old Aussie mix, and Shelby, her 7-year-old Pitbull Shepherd mix, keep her company. 🐶🐾

When she’s not at Blue Barn, Cat enjoys spending time with family and heading out on outdoor adventures with her husband. 🌲

Happy 1 year, Cat! Thanks for all you do for your team and the Blue Barn family! 🥳

🎉🐶 UPDATE: Teddy has been found! 💙

Thank you to everyone who shared and helped spread the word! We're so happy Teddy is back with his family! 🐾
..

🚨🐶 Have you seen Teddy?

Teddy is a 2-year-old pup who jumped out of his family's vehicle while they were parked outside Blue Barn.

He's wearing the same sweater shown in the photo, and his collar has his owner's phone number on it.

His family is visiting from outside the area, and we're hoping to help reunite them with Teddy! 💙🐾

Please share to help get Teddy back to his family!
