We're thrilled to announced that STRP, in partnership with JC Valley Ranch, will be hosting an Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) Certification with EAL Canada from September 6th - 10th, 2027!

What is EAL?
Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) uses activities with horses to help people build confidence, develop new skills, and support personal and emotional growth. The course teaches participants how to safely and meaningfully use interactions with horses to support these goals.

Whether you’re looking to expand your professional skills or deepen your understanding of the powerful connection between people and horses, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

Such a peaceful night sitting by the fire and watching the horses grazing in the pasture. I’m forever grateful that I get to live the life I do and call this place home.

Well that’s a wrap on the 2026 hay season! All we can say is WOW! We got everything done in one shot this year and what a stellar crop it looks like! We want to give a HUGE shout out to all our amazing friends who came out and helped us get it all put up in the loft before the little thunderstorm came through this morning. We have an amazing group of people that support us and help us continue doing what we love! Also a huge shout out to Donut Dips & Soda Sips for stopping by the farm and giving everyone a well needed lemonade! It hit the spot perfectly!

What a beautiful day to be outside! We have started our clean up of the trails from winter and are in the process of making them a bit wider! Can’t believe how dry it is in the bush! Winter may have held on longer than we all wanted, but spring is sure making up for it now that it has arrived!
