🔥PICKING UP RIGHT WHERE HE LEFT OFF! 🔥

This 4 year old gelding was started under saddle a couple of years ago and then pretty much sat ever since.

But you’d never know it! 👏

He saddled right up, went straight back to work, and has been absolutely awesome to have around!

We’re pretty excited about this one. With a little more time under saddle, we think he’s going to develop into one FANCY gelding! 🤩🐴

Looking forward to watching him progress and seeing just how nice he turns out!

🐴✨ BIG, HANDSOME & READY FOR HIS NEXT CHAPTER — STARTED PROJECT! ✨🐴

🌟 5 Year Old Grade Gelding | Just Under 16HH 🌟

This big guy has just completed 60 days of training and is ready for someone to continue bringing him along!

🐎 He is going walk, trot, and canter and has been ridden both inside, outside and has been taken out on the trail.
He has also been green broke to drive and has pulled a sleigh, giving him some additional experience beyond his time under saddle.

⭐ He’s been good under saddle, with nothing dirty out of him! He’s still green, but has a nice start and is ready for someone to continue his education.

✅ Ties and cross-ties
✅ Trailers
✅ Decent for having his feet handled

He can be a little quirky on the ground, more on the shy and cautious side than anything. He isn’t mean or nasty in any way, just needs someone patient and consistent to continue building his confidence.

He’s a nice-sized gelding with a foundation started in both riding and driving, and plenty of room to develop with the right person.

🌱 Selling as a started project, not a finished riding or driving horse.

I THINK WE UNDERSOLD TURNER… AND I’M STARTING TO THINK HE KNOWS IT. 👀🔥

Because where on earth has THIS horse been hiding?!

Every single ride, Turner comes out looking a little more polished, a little softer, and a whole lot fancier.

For a gelding who’s spent most of his life earning his keep on ranches, trails and in the mountains, he sure didn’t waste any time figuring out this arena business!

He’s absolutely blossoming, and I have to say, he’s becoming one heck of a beautiful horse to watch. 😍

We just had to brush off a little dust 😎
And judging by today’s session, I think we’re only scratching the surface of what this guy has to offer. 💙

🎥 Turn up the volume and watch Turner go to work!

Still available… for now. 😉

WOW. 👏 Turner is really starting to shine 😍

every ride he’s knocking a little more of that rust off.

Today we worked walk, trot and lope in the arena, and he’s starting to soften up, carry himself better and remember that pretty circles are, in fact, part of the job 😂

And somehow… he’s still available. 👀

If you’re looking for a solid, seasoned gelding with a ton of life experience and plenty left in the tank, don’t overlook Turner. I think someone is going to end up with a pretty darn cool horse. 💙

💙We’ve had quite a few people ask how Turner rides out alone… so yesterday we figured we’d show you.💙

And because apparently we like to make things interesting, we picked the coldest, windiest day we’ve had so far. 😂

Turner headed down the road away from the farm without any fuss. No calling for his buddies, no worrying about what was going on back at the barn — he just listened to his rider and went where he was asked.

He’ll go over, through and across pretty much whatever you point him at, and if you’re looking for a solid trail horse, this is where this guy really shines.

He’s got a ton of real-world experience under his belt, and getting out of the arena and actually going somewhere is very much his wheelhouse.

He rode back home just as nicely and finished off the ride by climbing our rock wall like it was no big deal. 😎

Turner is still available. 💙

💙 TURNER 💙
2012 AQHA gelding
Solid 14.3–15HH

Turner is a nice gelding with a whole lot of real-world experience under his belt. He’s spent more time doing a job than going around in circles, and it shows in all the right ways. From riding in the mountains and working in feedlots to being roped off of and logging countless trail miles, Turner knows his way around a good day’s work.

Since arriving, we’ve been spending some time putting a little more polish on his arena work, and he’s really starting to come together. He’s softening up, finding his rhythm, and improving with every ride.

He’s a responsive, willing gelding who pays attention to his rider and appreciates clear direction. He has a nice feel to him without being overly complicated, and I think someone with some riding experience will really enjoy what he has to offer.

Turner has been honest in our program, with no buck, rear or bolt. While I wouldn’t consider him a beginner’s horse, he’s certainly not one that needs a cowboy to ride him either.

He has clean legs, hasn’t been used up, and has plenty of good miles left in him.

For someone looking for a capable gelding with a great work ethic, plenty of outside experience, and a solid foundation to build on, Turner has a whole lot to offer. 💙

Turns out, Doc’s best button might be babysitter mode. 🥰

Fair warning, this one’s a little longer 😂 But it was pretty hard to fit all the things we love about Doc into one short video. ❤️

This is the kind you keep.⭐️

My 11-year-old can go catch Doc, bring him in, groom him, tack him up — minus throwing the saddle on, only because he’s a little too tall for her to get it up there 😂 — and head off to ride.

She can walk, trot and lope him around, take him out on the trails, lead the way, climb all over him and literally crawl all over him,

And he just takes care of her💙

A little update on Doc’s age as well — he was represented to me as a 12-year-old when I purchased him. After getting a better look at his teeth, I believe he’s likely more mid-teens, so that’s how I’ll be representing him going forward.

Does it change how I feel about him? Not one bit.

I’m honestly completely happy to keep this guy right here because there’s a whole lot of value in having a horse in the barn that I know I can put pretty much anyone on and feel comfortable.

Safe, seasoned, broke and genuinely enjoyable.

Those ones are pretty hard to replace. 🩷

Here’s some Stetson photo spam because, well… look at him. 😍🤠

The votes are in and Stetson it is! I think you guys nailed this one — it suits our handsome new buckskin perfectly.

It felt a whole lot more like summer than fall here today, so after working up a good sweat during his ride, he earned himself a nice cool bath. ☀️💦

Thanks for all the name suggestions and for helping us make it official!

Welcome to North Bound, Stetson! 🐴❤️
