A long awaited update:
The Dr has spoken and I will not be returning to grooming. Unfortunately I have a spinal condition that just can’t handle it.
It’s been an adjustment and it has taken awhile for me to come to terms with. This means I will very seldomly be helping with nail trims at Pet Valu - thank you Pawdicures By Steph for stepping in for me ensuring all the great rescues in the area still receive that support. My mobile nail trims list will be short and will only contain my regular stops.
In a weird twist I have gone back to school to become a certified nail tech and will be switching from animal nails to human nails - this has honestly been a weird adjustment, like what do you mean you don’t want beef liver or are trying to bite me? 😂 though, I will admit I am much more comfortable having a conversation with a dog than with another person 🤦🏻♀️
