🐾 **Wellness Wednesday** 🐾

This week’s focus: *Sniffing is enrichment* 👃🐕

Did you know a “sniff walk” can be just as valuable as physical exercise?

Dogs experience the world through scent, and allowing them time to sniff helps provide important mental stimulation and reduce stress.

🌿 Benefits of letting your dog sniff:
• Encourages natural instincts
• Helps tire dogs mentally
• Builds confidence in nervous pups
• Makes walks more engaging and enjoyable

Sometimes slowing down and letting your dog explore at their own pace can do wonders for their overall wellbeing. 🐾💛

Because for dogs, the walk isn’t just about the distance — it’s about the discoveries along the way.

Does your dog stop to sniff everything on walks? 👇

🐾 **Myth Buster Monday** 🐾

❌ **MYTH:** "High-energy dogs are just hyper."

✔️ **FACT:** Breed, age, exercise, training, and nutrition all play a role in your dog's energy levels.

Many active dogs simply need the right balance of physical activity, mental stimulation, and nutrition to help them thrive. ⚡🐕

A busy dog isn't necessarily a bad dog—it may just be a dog doing what it was bred to do. 💛

Does your dog have endless energy, or are they more of a nap enthusiast? 👇

🐾 **Wellness Wednesday** 🐾

This week’s reminder: *Rest and recovery are part of wellness too* 😴🐕

Dogs need quality sleep to support healthy muscles, brain function, immune health, and overall mood — especially growing puppies and active seniors.

💤 Ways to support better rest for your dog:
• Create a quiet, comfortable sleeping space
• Keep a consistent daily routine
• Make sure they get enough exercise during the day
• Provide a cozy bed that supports their joints and body

Just like people, dogs recharge while they sleep — and a well-rested pup is often calmer, happier, and healthier. 💛

How many naps does your dog take in a day? 🐾👇
