If you are looking for knowledge,quality, ethical, supportive and kind instruction you have found your home. Stone Meadows offers only private lessons with an experienced certified competition coach.

We currently have a few lesson spots available and will be taking new clients, as well as an indoor boarding spot open.

Also available are a few very special well trained, safe and affordable horses available for half lease.

Stone Meadows is a top quality facility located 25 min from downtown Ottawa. Easy commute from downtown, east or west of the city.

Stone Meadows Offers full service boarding, lessons, training, show transportation and coaching as well as various clinics throughout the year.

We strongly believe that each client, human or horse, is an individual. Our stable and our training programs are designed to best suit each individual’s needs. This is what makes Stone Meadows unique. Give your equine partner the best quality in both facility and care. Regular massage therapist, chiropractor and Bemer treatments available.

Lessons are available in both Dressage and Hunter/Jumper disciplines on your horse or ours. All horses used in lessons are highly trained show horses and many are available for lease.
Lessons are taught by Robin-Lynn Brent, Certified Equine Canada Competition Coach Specialist.

Farm offers:
-Top quality feed and hay.
-Ample bedding
-Safe wood fences and ample turnout
-Stalls are large and airy with 14-foot ceilings
-Isles and stalls are all rubber matted for safety
-Temperature controlled ventilation fans
-Top footing, regularly maintained by
-Large bright indoor arena
-Full size outdoor dressage ring with top footing and drainage
-Outdoor Jump ring with new show jumps
-Safe hacking path
-Large equipment lockers
-Climate controlled tackrooms and bathroom
- Blanketing and booting included

Another amazing in-house schooling show in the books!
We were so fortunate that the weather held up for us to get all the tests in.

Thank you to all the competitors for their effort and participation.

Huge thank you to our judge Duncan Wood, who did an amazing job and left all our riders with positive comments and things to work on.

Thank you to C and C’s baked goods - Chantal Baron for the incredible prize for best turnout of both horse and rider - awarded to Louise Moynan

Looking to add a member to our team on the weekends. Horse experience required.

Duties include blanketing, booting, driving atv, feeding, turnout, mucking, sweeping and cleaning.

Connor and Jon hosted our first ever driving clinic.

We had many enthusiastic participants which made for a fun day.

They went through many topics with our Haflingers: shoeing, harnessing, hooking, line driving and driving a team.

All the participants got the opportunity to drive the ponies and ask all their questions. It was a super hands on experience.

They ended the day by hooking the four and everyone got to help put it together and go for a ride along.

The ponies were perfect teachers and got lots of treats and a nice shower after the day was done 💕

We had an excellent day for our In-House Schooling Show. We wanted to thank all the participants who were all beautifully turned out.

An enormous thank you to our judge Caroline George. She gave excellent feedback and I am confident all our riders will benefit from her constructive and kind comments.

Stone Meadows Haflingers will start the 2026 show season at the Lansdowne Fair on Saturday July 18th.

Very excited to introduce a new lead pair of Haflingers to our hitch.

Also, introducing for their first public appearance our 6 pony hitch.

Sounds like there will be a large number of exhibitors this year. Lots of impressive horses on display.

Many thanks to all of our clients and friends for coming and making our annual Christmas Party a success. We always have so much fun with you all🎄

Thank you for your generous donations of non perishable food for the local food bank, we were overwhelmed with the donations.

Big shoutout to Nicole and Valerie for helping with setup. Thank you to my parents for their amazing cooking of the main meal.
