🐾💕 DOUBLE THE SWEETNESS: Meet Fergie & Noodles! 💕🐾

Looking for a kitten to watch blossom into your best friend?

Meet Fergie and Noodles, two handsome boys currently waiting for their forever families at PetSmart Barrhaven (3161 Greenbank Rd, Ottawa). 🏡❤️

🐱 Fergie
Fergie came to us from the McDonald's Corner colony and is already making amazing progress. While he may be a little shy when you first walk into the room, his curiosity quickly takes over. Before long, he's peeking out from behind the cat tree and trotting over to see what you're up to!

He's learning that cuddles aren't so scary, discovering the fun of toys (especially electronic ones!), and proving himself to be a fantastic eater. Churu treats are definitely the way to this sweet boy's heart. 😻

With a little patience and love, we think Fergie is going to turn into quite the cuddle bug.

🍜 Noodles
Noodles joined BPCR after we helped another rescue with a large colony of 31 kittens in need. This gentle little guy is still adjusting to all the new experiences that come with life in care.

He's a sweet, passive kitten who can be shy at first, but he's already showing us what a lovely boy he is. Like any kitten, Noodles has lots of growing, learning, exploring, and playing ahead of him. His personality is still unfolding, and we can't wait to see the confident companion he's destined to become.

💕 Both boys are looking for families who understand that some kittens need a little extra time to settle in. The reward? Watching them gain confidence, learn to trust, and grow into loving companions right before your eyes.

Biscuits and Purrs Cat Rescue is thrilled to congratulate the families who have opened their hearts and homes to Coco, Panther, Sirius, Pierce & Trident, Bailey, Dice & Yuki, Tater, Atlantis & Asgard, and Aztlan! 🏡❤️

Every adoption gives a rescued or rehomed cat a fresh start, a chance to feel safe, and a lifetime of love. Thank you for being part of their journey!

Merlin, Salem, and Edgar (born August 2026) are three young boys with distinct personalities. They’re now ready for adoption at PetSmart Barrhaven-3161 Greenbank Rd.

❌ ADOPTED! 🎉 Merlin is an energetic, high-play kitten who is always on the move. He enjoys running, chasing toys, and finding creative ways to turn everyday objects into games. He is distinguished by a small white spot on his belly and subtle grey strands of fur on his front legs.

✅ Edgar is equally outgoing and curious, balancing affection with a busy, adventurous spirit. He enjoys snuggling, but he is quick to pop up and chase a toy or climb onto boxes and perches to get the highest view in the room.

✅ Salem brings a quieter, more independent dynamic. He is a reserved boy who enjoys affection on his own terms and prefers keeping his feet on the ground rather than being picked up. While he appreciates having his own space, he has a gentle nature, enjoys quiet companionship, and gets along well in play sessions with other cats.

All three have done well in foster care and are ready for patient, supportive homes.

Eggy and Nimba are two sweet Oriental Shorthairs who came into rescue together after their elderly owner could no longer care for them. Having had limited socialization early in life, both are initially timid and need a patient, quiet environment where they can build confidence at their own pace.

Eggy (born July 2023) is three years old with a curious, clever nature. Once she feels secure, she enjoys watching birds from the window, finding ways to make toys out of small household objects, and settling on the couch beside her human. Nimba (born July 2022) is four years old and equally smart and playful. He is a talkative boy who greets his people with distinct little honk sounds when they return home. He likes being close to his trusted people, though he appreciates affection on his own terms and prefers gentle, respected boundaries.

Both cats have gentle hearts and a lot to offer an adopter who understands that trust takes time. They deserve a calm home where they can continue to open up and thrive.

Betty and Barnet: two four-month old sisters who are an absolute bundle of love- are in the adoption corner of PetSmart Barrhaven-3161 Greenbank Road.

Curious, playful, and full of purrs, Betty and Barnet love exploring their surroundings, chasing toys, climbing their cat tree, and settling down for a cozy nap in front of a sunny window. Betty is a confident, outgoing girl who happily approaches everyone for pets, cuddles, and attention, with a purr so loud you can hear it across the room! Barnet is just as adventurous, always ready for a little playtime or a chance to charm you with her sweet personality.
When they’re not busy playing or soaking up the sunshine, these girls are happy to enjoy their favourite wet food, nibble on dry kibble between meals, and come running for a tasty Churu treat. They both have excellent litter box habits and keep their beautiful coats lovely and clean.
Betty and Barnet get along wonderfully with other kitties and have both had positive experiences with the foster family dog. Whether they’re chasing crinkle balls, hiding in tunnels, watching the world go by from a sunny window, or curling up for some well-deserved rest, these sisters are sure to bring plenty of fun and sweetness to their forever home.

At just 5 months old, Cheddar has already been through more than any kitten should. He was among the cats left homeless after a home in McDonald’s Corners exploded. Thankfully, he’s now safe and discovering just how wonderful life indoors can be!

This handsome young boy is settling in beautifully and showing off more of his lovely personality every day. One of his favourite things? PLAYTIME! 🎯 Bring out the laser pointer and watch Cheddar come alive with excitement! His playful side is a joy to see, and he’s making the most of all the comforts that come with his new life.

Cheddar gets along wonderfully with other cats and even showed interest in getting to know the foster family dog, happily chatting with him through the screen door. He’s a great eater who enjoys both wet and dry food, has excellent litter box habits, and absolutely loves being petted. Once he knows you, he’s also happy to be picked up and enjoy some cuddles. 🥰

Cheddar is an affectionate, playful kitten who enjoys human attention and wants to be part of the family. Initially shy, he may need a little time to settle into a new home, but his sweet nature and growing confidence are already shining through. With love and a little patience, he’s sure to make a wonderful companion.

Fall is one of the best times to foster. Summer vacations are over, routines are settling back in, and many of us are spending more time at home. It's the perfect season to provide a safe, temporary space for a cat in need.

🐾💕 **MEET BEVERLY – RETIRED MAMA, PROFESSIONAL SWEETHEART!** 💕🐾

After spending far too much of her young life raising kittens, Beverly has officially retired from motherhood and is ready for a little pampering of her own! 👑🐱

This beautiful tabby girl came into our care after a difficult start in life, where she knew what it meant to be needed but hadn't really experienced what it felt like to be loved. Thankfully, those days are behind her! ❤️

Since arriving in foster care, Beverly has been discovering all the wonderful things life has to offer — and she's LOVING it!

💕 **Chin scratches?** Yes, please!
💕 **Bum scratches?** Even better!
💕 **A good brushing?** Pure bliss!
💕 **Playtime and feline friends?** Absolutely!

And then there's mealtime. 🥹 Beverly still seems a little surprised when her bowl is filled, almost as if she's asking, *"Wait… that's all for ME?"* ❤️
