UPDATE: Bambi’s owner has been found ❤️

Bambi’s owner came back and picked her up safely. She explained that she currently does not have a phone and has been going through a very difficult time, which is why she was unable to contact us.

She apologized for what happened and assured us that this will not happen again.

Thank you so much to everyone who shared the post, reached out, and helped us look for Bambi’s owner. We truly appreciate all the concern and support for this sweet girl. ❤️

🚨 PLEASE SHARE — LOOKING FOR BAMBINA’S OWNER 🚨

We are trying to locate the owner of this sweet senior girl, Bambina (Bambi), who was left at our Pawllywoof Pet Spa – Kanata location yesterday.

Bambi was brought in as a walk-in for a nail trim at approximately 4:55 PM on Thursday, September 10. Because it was a walk-in appointment, we unfortunately did not collect the owner’s contact information or phone number.

The owner did not return to pick her up before closing and has still not returned or contacted us.

We brought Bambi to a veterinary clinic to check for a microchip. She does have a microchip, but unfortunately the registration information has not been updated since 2011. There is no current phone number listed, and the address connected to the chip is in Alberta.

Bambi is currently safe and being cared for by one of our staff members. ❤️ She is an incredibly sweet girl, estimated to be around 15 years old, and appears to still be in good health.

We are hoping to find her owner or someone who knows her family. If you recognize Bambi or have any information about her owner, please send Pawllywoof Pet Spa a private message. We may ask for proof of ownership before releasing her.

If we are unable to locate her owner, we will eventually need to find a loving home for her.

Please share this post, especially with people in the Ottawa/Kanata community. We would really like to get Bambi home. 🐾❤️
