Had a great weekend ranch rodeoing. Placed 1st in the Hairy Hill Wildcard Scramble, 1st in the St Paul Ranch Rodeo with a wildcard team, 3rd in the Hairy Hill Scramble, and 3rd in the Hairy Hill Rodeo.
Some other highlights of my weekend include:
🔥Maddie being in her first ever ranch rodeo on a team with me and NEVER having roped a critter before ever. I literally taught her to dally before our run- and she snagged doubles on the heel side, dallied and got ‘er done in competition under pressure!
🔥Using Bueno for a couple events and carrying flags. Really happy with how he handles absolutely everything
🔥My boyfriend coming to watch, video and hang out on Saturday
🔥Getting to make a weekend of it and hang out camping with my gal pals
🔥 on Rockstar getting a lot of roping done this weekend and even turning into headers on Sunday
Thankful for the committees that put these events on, the sponsors, and those that enter and compete with me!

Baby Twix came unhandled 2 days ago, I halter broke him when I picked him up, though he was pretty quiet! But had no idea how to lead. Did more halter work yesterday. Groundwork, saddled, and step ups today. He’s ready for a ride! So thankful Shiana Birrell gave me the opportunity to own this one ♥️ my Twix’s got bought 8 years apart almost exactly!
