UPDATE 🐾 Owner retrieved her! Apparently ambled under a low part of the electric cattle fence 🧨and bolted, travelled a long way for a little dog. Maybe headed to the RCMP to make a complaint of assault. lol. She used to enjoy her visits when her mom worked there and probably had a panicked flashback, a safe place!

Anyone recognize this little girl? Friendly, a bit scared.
Young small breed female mix, running down Highway 35 just north of the Esso.
No collar or tags. Has microchip, only vet information.

This is why research your dog breed, why be cautious approaching a dog you don’t know? Why don’t rush out to get the smart dog you see in the action movies? Why realistically question your own capabilities in handling/training the dog you get. Be aware, be cautious, be educated,be proactive.

This is a bittersweet but most 🐾❣️HAPPY❣️🐾post
Today, Raven, who has been with us for 49 months, just over 4 years, (she arrived July 2022 from Paddle Prairie area during a rough patch there, we suspected she was pregnant so she was spayed shortly after arrival) was officially ADOPTED! She has always been well mannered, loved people, especially children. She welcomed our school tours and taught manners to some of our more boisterous charges. She never hurt them, was very tolerant but corrected them if they got out of line. Raven was overlooked, she was older, quieter, not flashy when potential adopters came by, many passed her by. Monica and George met her, felt drawn to her and took her home for a trial. In Monica’s words, “I think she was waiting for us, I wish we would’ve come sooner”.
Did I blink back a few tears, yep and we will miss her. Our job is to help our strays find the best possible fit. We know Raven lucked out, she will be living her best life. Thank you Monica and George for allowing Raven to choose you❣️

Found: last night by a garbage can area.
Small white with patches male kitten. SE part of Town. Compromised.
It may have been grabbed/mauled prior to being found? People, keep in mind, any roving Tomcat, (will kill a kitten if not theirs) large owl, Raven, Hawk, any larger bird can pick these litte ones up and drop them to try and kill them for food) dogs will grab them and play with them like a stuffie.
Thanks Michelle H for her compassion, searching when she heard the crying, finding it, making it as comfortable as possible and keeping it safe for the night. ❣️(she even bathed it because it was so dirty)

That big smile says it all. 😊
This little fellow was crushed a couple days ago when he first met Ingot but wasn’t allowed to take him home right that moment. Today he got to come back, put a collar and leash on Ingot and take him home for a trial run.

Looking to rehome, 9 month old intact lovely female Black lab X English Lab .
Single owner forced to make changes to accomodate long shifts away for work. He feels she would do better where she has a more stable environment and attention.
