RVT Appreciation Week: a little behind-the-scenes truth.

When you see a calm pet waking up from anesthesia, a smooth blood draw, a clean bandage, a warm blanket, a patient being monitored minute by minute thats your veterinary technologist at work.

I've seen lives come back and lives slip away from these hands. And every time, there is so much love and care, no matter the circumstance.

TRINITY brings that kind of steady heart to every patient plus a special talent for feline wrangling and a real drive to keep learning across species.

If you've ever had a cat that needed a little extra patienceyou know how priceless that is.

RVT Appreciation Week reminder: your pets care team is bigger than one person.

Registered veterinary technologists are the hands that monitor anesthesia, run diagnostics, place catheters, take radiographs, keep patients warm, advocate for comfort, and teach pet parents what to do when they get home. This list is no where near complete.

In other words: they change lives.

Today were giving a loud THANK YOU to BECKY and TRINITY for the expert care and endless compassion they bring to our clinic, every single day.

If a tech has ever helped your animal (or helped YOU through a hard moment), drop a thank you below. We’ll make sure they see it.

RVT Appreciation Week isn’t just about the letters after a name. It’s about the people who show up early, stay late, and keep learning because our patients deserve it.

Today we’re celebrating our tech assistant, MORGAN.

She’s newer to the clinic, but she’s already become one of those steady, studious, hardworking humans you can count on. Brilliant, curious, and quietly determined.

And the youthful joy she brings? It’s contagious. Add in her big love for her beloved cats, and honestly… we couldn’t imagine clinic life without her.

Drop a little love for Morgan in the comments.

RVT Appreciation Week roll call and today were shouting out TRINITY.

Trinity is our adventurous, knowledge chasing, excellence seeking and kind hearted soul. Shes quietly always shining, doing her best and making everything count.

Trinity is a feline lover and wrangler (cats know it, too). Shes also got that spark for learning and pushing herself further, with different species and new skills always on her mind.

We are proud and blessed to work alongside you, Trinity. Thank you for showing up with your whole heart.

Its RVT Appreciation Week, and were starting it the only way we know how: by bragging about our techs.

Today is for BECKY.

I've seen many a life under the watchful care of Becky. And every single time, there is so much love and care, no matter the circumstance.

Becky is salt-of-the-earth, honest, and hardworking (the farmer work ethic is REAL) woman. Shes got a soft spot for anything porcine, and I swear shes a bit of a bovine whisperer.

We are proud and blessed to have worked alongside this woman.

Thank you, Becky, for being the steady heart in the room when it matters most.

🐾🚨 HAPPY NATIONAL PUG DAY, PEASANTS! 🚨🐾

It is I, Earl. Your favourite wrinkly little loaf of bread. Your local potato with legs. Your household supervisor who contributes absolutely nothing to the economy but somehow costs more to maintain than a small child. 🐷❤️

Today is NATIONAL PUG DAY, which frankly begs the question… why isn't every day National Pug Day? Who is in charge of these things, and why haven't they been fired?

In honour of this sacred occasion, I would like to remind everyone of a few very important facts:

🐾 I am not fat. I am compact and luxurious.

🐾 I do not snore. I am simply a tiny diesel engine with feelings.

🐾 I do not beg for food. I conduct aggressive quality-control inspections of whatever my humans are eating.

🐾 I am not spoiled. I am a highly respected member of this household who happens to require 47 blankets, constant supervision, and immediate compensation for any inconvenience, including being asked to move my own bum.

🐾 My mumsy says I am lucky I'm cute. I say she's lucky I haven't released the footage of her talking to me in that ridiculous baby voice.

And finally, if you happen to see a pug today, please give them a kiss, a snack, and a gentle reminder that they are, in fact, the main character. If you see ME, I accept cash, cheezies, belly rubs, and legal ownership of your entire couch.

Happy National Pug Day to all my fellow snorty little goblins! May your wrinkles stay clean, your naps remain uninterrupted, and your humans continue to believe they are in charge. 😂🐾

With love, snorts, and absolutely no personal space,

Earl 🐷👑
Chief Snack Inspector. Professional Blanket Hog. Mumsy's full-time financial burden and emotional support potato. ❤️

Drop your pug photos for me in the comments!
