Our last new Board & Train student to introduce is Copper, a 1.5 year old Alaskan Husky who recently moved to Canada after being found roaming the streets of Texas. This sweet fella is staying with us to gain reliable off leash obedience, improve his manners, learning to channel his excitement around other dogs, control around cats and more! We welcomed Hank into Board & Train this week! This handsome guy is a 3.5 year old Coonhound mix who was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas, but now he is loving life with his new Mom in Halifax. Hank is staying with us to work on separation anxiety, resource guarding, crate training, grooming/handling, obedience and more 🙂

A new group of Board & Train pups have landed at the dog house! First to arrive was Luna, a beautiful 4 year old Saint Bernard.

After trying medication (trazadone & prozac) with little improvement, Luna's family reached out for help and we are very glad they did!

Luna is here to work on a few different things including leash walking, recall, obedience, grooming/handling, manners and improving how she interacts with humans outside of her circle.

I look forward to sharing some of her journey. Stay tuned!

We recently welcomed a new group of Board & Train students!

First to arrive was Mr. Diesel! This handsome fella is an 11 month old Lab. Our second guest at the Dog House was sweet Annie, a 10 month old Goldendoodle. The third pup to arrive was Mr. Denver - the "old man" of the crew 😅 who is a 3.5 year old Husky/Lab mix. Last but certainly not least, Sam, who is a 2 year old Bernedoodle and is the biggest dog of the group!

I have a pretty great looking group of students, wouldn't you agree?

6 weeks to transform this crew into a better version of themselves!
