Hi everyone!

Not sure why … but lately we are receiving a lot of requests for our board prices from people living in the USA.

Just to clarify… we are located in Elmvale, Ontario, CANADA.

I know there is an Ontario in California but we are in the Canadian Ontario lol.

(Note: we only have 2 Mare spots available in total. Only 1 stall, the other is outdoor. Or we can accommodate both outdoor.)

Our round pen is officially complete!! With a 60 foot diameter, it’s perfect for lunging, training, riding and everything in between. We can’t wait to see our boarders enjoying this exciting new space. Another upgrade complete - and lots more to go!

2 girls, 1 farm, 1 year… we did it! ❤️

Today marks 1 year that we have been open for business at Starlight Acres.

We had so many curve balls thrown at us - including the worst winter the town has seen in 30 years - as our first winter! Followed up with one of the worst springs and now an extremely dry summer with an insane amount of flys.

From 5 feet of snow, flooded paddocks, sinking machines, hand rolling round bales, ice storms, hand walking buckets through boot sucking mud, and more… we pushed through it all.

We learned exactly where the improvements needed to be made and we have been tackling it one by one.

What a year it has been!!

Thank you to everyone who has believed in us and has stuck by us through it all. We appreciate every single one of you and couldn’t have done it without all of you!

Cheers to one year and many, many more to come! We’re just getting started!

FREE Horse Manure - We Can Load Your Trailer For You (With Skid Steer). Has hay mixed in and a small amount of shavings in some areas - otherwise it’s mostly manure and hay. Pickup in Elmvale.

Now Accepting New Boarders (Limited Spots Available)

We are a close knit, family style barn - located in Elmvale.

What we have to offer:

Outdoor board:
- blanketing/fly masks
- quality round bales/hay
- brand new Nelson automatic waterers in all paddocks (fresh water, no winter freezing, no algae in troughs)
- loose salt (bucket fed) in each paddock
- newly built 10x20 large run in shelters
- 1x AM grain feeding per day (grain/supplements supplied by owner)
- small group turnout
- wood and electric fencing
- strict quarantine process for new horses

Indoor board (One Stall Available)
- all aspects of outdoor board
- rubber mats and bedding in each stall
- AM & PM grain per day (grain/supplements provided by owner)
- hay nets in each stall
- water buckets filled with fresh water daily, topped up at night check
- scratch posts in each stall
- limited stalls available

Access to all amenities, including but not limited to:
- Tack room
- Large (Approx 110x270) grass outdoor riding arena with stadium light for winter/evening rides
- Approx 15 acres of trails on property
- Small cross country course located in the forest clearing on property
- Close to multiple Simcoe trail entrances (10 min ride down our road)
- indoor and outdoor crossties, all with rubber mats
- owner and barn manager live on property
- night checks
- outside trainers/farriers/vets/coaches are welcome
- family feel atmosphere

We are a drama free barn with a family feel atmosphere.

Upgrades to come 2025/2026:
- direct access to Simcoe trails from the property
- barn extension for additional stalls and storage
- indoor arena
- property drainage
