With the sudden change to summer this week there is also an increased risk for dehydration and that applies to our pets too!
So it's a great time to share some pet hydration safety tips:

• Keep fresh, clean water with you at all times - remember if you wouldn't drink it your pet probably shouldn't either 🦠🧫
• Bring a collapsible bowl or water bottle pet attachment with you on walks and trips 💦
• Avoid heavy exercise during the mid-day and opt for activities in the early morning or at dusk when the temperature is cooler

Also keep an eye out for these symptoms of pet dehydration:

• Lethargy
• Excessive panting
• Loss of appetite
• Sticky/dry gums
• Poor skin elasticity
