Meet Jordyn! 🩺🐾

One of Jordyn’s favourite parts of being a Veterinary Technician is surgery!

She loves being part of the team that helps our patients through their procedures, from getting them ready beforehand to monitoring them while they’re under anesthesia and making sure they’re comfortable as they wake up.

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes during surgery, and our veterinary technicians play a huge role in keeping everything running smoothly and, most importantly, keeping our patients safe.

For Jordyn, there’s something pretty special about getting to see a patient through their entire surgical journey. 💙

Happy Vet Tech Month, Jordyn!

🎁 DONATE FOR A CHANCE TO WIN! 🐾

Throughout October, we’re fundraising in support of the Farley Foundation! And we’ve got two pretty great reasons to get involved.

We have TWO gift baskets up for grabs—one for cat lovers 🐱 and one for dog lovers 🐶!

Here’s how it works:
💙 Every donation = one ballot in the draw
🐱 Choose the cat basket, or 🐶 choose the dog basket
🎟️ Add more donations to get more ballots and more chances to win!
📅 Draws will take place after October 31st.

But most importantly, your donation helps support the Farley Foundation, a charitable organization that helps provide essential veterinary care to pets when their families are facing financial hardship.

Since 2002, the Farley Foundation has helped more than 17,700 pets across Ontario receive veterinary care they otherwise may not have been able to access. 🐾💙

So whether you're hoping to take home one of these baskets or simply want to help a pet in need, every donation makes a difference.

Draw details and eligibility available at the clinic.

October is also Fundraising for Farley Month, and we’re proud to be supporting the Farley Foundation again this year! 💙

The Farley Foundation helps provide access to essential veterinary care for pets whose families are experiencing financial hardship.

Because every pet deserves the chance to receive the care they need, regardless of their family’s circumstances.

Throughout October, we’ll be fundraising here at Clinton Vet to help support this amazing cause.

Stop into the clinic to make a donation, or add a donation to your invoice, to receive a small token of gratitude AND be entered into a draw for a chance to win 1 of 2 gift baskets!

We’ll be sharing more about the Farley Foundation and how your donations help throughout the month!

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

Today, we take a moment to reflect, listen, learn, and remember.

As a veterinary clinic and part of our local community, we believe in creating a space where everyone is treated with kindness, compassion, and respect.

Today is an opportunity to learn more about the history and experiences of Indigenous peoples in Canada and to reflect on the role we all play in reconciliation.

🧡 We remember. We listen. We learn.

We’re excited to welcome Alexis, our high school co-op student, to the Clinton Vet team! 💙

Alexis will be spending time with us learning about what goes on behind the scenes at a veterinary clinic, helping out with day-to-day tasks, and getting plenty of experience working with our team (and, of course, meeting lots of furry patients along the way 🐶🐱).

We’re happy to have you with us, Alexis, and we can’t wait to see all the things you learn during your time at Clinton Veterinary Services 🐾!

Be sure to say hi if you see her around the clinic!
