Hugs - 0. Skunk - 2. Thought I would share a recipe that I have used not once but twice this summer and am impressed with how well it works. I've tried many products over the years, but just a few household items is all that you really need. And if you are in a pinch, feel free to come grab them in the salon. I am happy to help. But whatever you do, do not use water until you have applied this mixture first. If you do, you will be smelling skunk🦨 for months to come.

Happy Monday! My phone was damaged yesterday while spending time in the mountains. I am having trouble retrieving messages for grooming requests that I had not yet responded too. When I am riding my horse in the mountains, i often get messages come through as we climb to higher elevations. As service is spotty and it is my time to disconnect, I don't typically reply to messages until my next work day. Your messages are very important to me and I sincerely apologize to those who i didn't reply to. I am going to Telus today to try to get his sorted but in the meantime, it is probably best to contact Angie at 403-333-9838. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Laura

My heart is BURSTING with all the gratitude for the support today. Wow Langdon... you know how to parade! Riding Echo kept me pretty busy... we know which blocks like to party now lol 🥳
The dogs and horses were so well taken care of in the extreme heat.
Not everyone is in the pic but thank you to everyone who helped ❤️

It was a real treat to participate in the Carseland parade yesterday. Super grateful for the team and spectators that showed up for us. Looking forward to the Langdon parade! It's July 18th if anyone would like to help represent us. Dog or no dog, we would love the support.

It's a full week ahead... someone is at the salon Mon to Sat followed by another short week (closed July 2 and 3).

I've dropped the ball on posting our hours as of late so here is an update! The shop is closed today and tomorrow but I will be there on Friday.

Going forward, I will typically be working in the salon on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. If I take a Saturday off, I'll make up the time with an additional weekday.
Another groomer is available on Mondays and Wednesdays at a minimum, which will provide more appointment options. That said, we're flexible and may adjust our schedule based on demand.
During the summer months, our hours can occasionally vary due to dog shows and horse events, so some weeks (like this one) may look a little different than our usual schedule.
However, there is never anyone too far away so if you need anything at all, please reach out.
