Opening October 2022, F3 Ranch is a family-owned and operated equine sanctuary, located 45 minutes east of Fort Saskatchewan in Lamont County. The ranch started with a vision of a relaxed multi-discipline facility and has become a safe haven for rescued and misunderstood horses. Our mission has been to rescue and rehabilitate as many horses as our resources allow. Working with Horse Hero’s Alberta, we help to pull horses from local auctions who are destined for the slaughterhouse and offer them a forever sanctuary or second chance training for rehoming if possible. We encourage people to come to spend some time with these amazing animals and hopefully find some healing of their own. We strongly believe in the 3 F's; Faith, Family, and Friends. So, whether you are volunteering, visiting the horses, attending an event, or an artist looking for inspiration, you are part of the F3 Family!

🐾 Another portrait finished! ✏️❤️

This happy face was an absolute joy to bring to life!

There’s something special about capturing an animal’s personality on paper. From those bright, expressive eyes to that big, goofy smile, I wanted every little detail to shine through.

This is an 8x10 graphite portrait, lovingly created one pencil stroke at a time. 🖤

As I continue pouring my heart into my artwork, every drawing brings me another step closer to my goal of saving my little farm. 🌾

Look at those ears! 😍 This sweet face is really coming together now, and I’m finally getting to tackle all that beautiful fluffy fur!

It’s been a slower week, but I’m loving how this little personality is emerging from the paper. ❤️

But slow progress is still progress!

That sweet little face is really coming together, and I’m finally getting to see that happy personality shine through! 🥰

❤️ Some names deserve a permanent place in your heart, and on the farm. ❤️

This fence post is a little extra special. It belongs to Crystal, a longtime follower who makes the trip to visit my farm once a year. Over time, she’s become more than just a follower. She’s become part of this little farm’s story. ❤️

Now, no matter how much time passes, a little piece of Crystal will always be here.

Well, this little face is really starting to come to life! ❤️

I’ve spent some time building up those deep blacks, adding texture, and bringing out all the little details in that adorable face.

Now comes the mountain of fluffy fur! 😂 One pencil stroke at a time!
