When the trainer wants you to work……. But the sands soft. Ignore the trainer and take advantage 🐎

Tanner taking massive steps in his confidence, sometimes the smallest changes and exercises can make a different horse. 🐎

Although poor Stephen nearly looses his head on our little training barrier on such a big baby. This little training barrier has been a huge part of our training over the years, simple and great for building horses up to the full sets of gates. Our breakers start these barriers from day one walking out of the round yard, through this barrier and back to the tie ups. Then the same thing first ride straight out of the round yard and straight through the gate makes it a part of their everyday training and creates very little panic when introduced to the gates at the track.

One of our current young horses here for some education. He came with a good backwards button but as you can see without anyone behind him even now he’s gaining the confidence he needs to do his job. He still has a way to go but we are wrapped with this big baby and what he’s learnt so far, now to tackle his float and truck loading without running backward 🤞

Also time to tidy up that mane and tail ✂️💇

Why are you better off messaging than calling us.

1. Service - I have a couple spots I have to run to, to ensure I can actually talk to you

2. We are a husband and wife team that do it all ourselves we absolutely value you and your horses but that means our time is spent with your horse or doing all the maintenance and cleaning ourselves, while running the day to day of the stables. We unfortunately don’t have heaps of staff to operate the stables while we are on the phone this dose mean our prices stay competitive.

3. We will always try to call you back however can not guarantee when that will be

4. We are always making some kind of noise and we just don’t hear phones 😳

5. When you do get Jessie on the phone she talks to much 😂😂

Busy busy next few months getting miles back into the race horses legs now they have all spent the last 2 weeks on the walker and getting shoes back on. Picture just because she’s such a good looking animal 😍 accidentally cut Stephens head off but we are all here for the horses anyway 😋🤣

With this years breaking bookings pretty well full and 2027 taking off already be sure to book your breakers to avoid disappointment! Spaces from Feb are available but filling fast ☺️

We are so pleased with the support we have been receiving between the racing community and our old showjumping community. We are looking at having a few huge years coming up with Stephen stepping into the breaking saddle with me. Team work makes the dream work after all.

Our focus and life lately has meant we have been missing from the races but we have been quietly building our dream and working towards having it all. With so many people to thank with both sets of our parents and the racing community still supporting us with breakers and pre trainers without us being out and about racing has been truely appreciated.

We are still accepting pre trainers with competitive prices for both pre trainers and breaking.

We look forward to finishing this year strong, getting back to the races, putting our business back out there to build our clientele and maybe a cheeky winner or two wouldn’t hurt either 😏
