Thor is a stunning cat, he knows it so initially was quite aloof. He would tease you by coming up to you, then walking off as soon as he gets attention. But then he would follow us seeking attention 😄. Funny fellow 🥰.

Trying to get him interested in playing is a lost cause though, it's beneath him 🤨. But he does like a brush.

He likes to be admired - and then cuddled - briefly... He even enjoyed being on our lap so it was nice hearing him purr 😍. We thoroughly enjoyed minding him again 🤗.

Back with Kudu, LOLs and Frida - this time in Adelaide. All went on a diet but they did love their walks. Well, LOLs actually only likes his walks - just to do his business - then wants to go back to his lounge 😆.

Kudu is a mummy's boy. Wouldn't have a bar of us before his family left, but once he couldn't convince them to stay, he became very sooky, showed off and wanted lots of attention.

Frida was a little Princess. Her brothers would let her do whatever she wanted. So she just pleased herself because she is so cute and could get away with everything.

We had a lovely stay with them in Adelaide. The walks around the neighbourhood were really lovely - the dogs enjoyed their sniffs while we admired the beautiful homes. Meet lots of lovely doggies and had a wonderful time 🐕🐕🐕❤️

Dakota is a people dog and we were greeted with so much enthusiasm. In fact, if any dog could do cart-wheels, it would be Dakota 😄.

He is a cheeky boy - the lounge was his bed as well as his trampoline 😬. And he also enjoyed a good chew 🫨. I don't think any Kong would be safe in those jaws!

He doesn't mind a good brushing though, has a great appetite and loves attention 🥰.

And when he is settled he is quite a charmer - and just loves to be loved ❤️.

Percy gets cuddles, clip, washed and walkies ☺️.

This time we tried the new nail grinder. Surprisingly he wasn't too bad with it considering he hates his feet touched.

We fixed his dog-coat in preparation for winter 🥶.

He can be a bit naughty and demanding at times but really, he's a very good boy 🤗.

And great company for Richard's mum 🥰

Another new personality - Thor 🐱. We're actually not sure if this cat was an imposter as he didn't display the traits his paw-parents described 🤔 🤣.

So Thor is a Ragdoll. He is fluffy and cute and only vocal when he first greets you when you come home. And there we were expecting him to talk day and night 😄.

We thought he would play with us also! Nope, he had little interest in his toys and even less interest in being brushed 🫤.

In fact he just liked being admired, talked to and stroked/patted - only when he felt like it though. He happily laid in his favourite chair or cat tower to watch us - or sleep. So he would strut around wanting us to admire him - I'm sure his attitude was 'Look but don't touch' 😻 😅.

He's an easy going fellow who is confident and definitely knows how gorgeous he is 🥰.

It was our first time with Bella 🐕, Misty & Pepper 😺😺. Bella is a 9 month Aussie Shepherd x Poodle with lots of energy. Her breed is an alert working dog, so during our short stay she was fun, happy and independent - listening to us most of the time...

We took her to Margo & Lester's property where she had a fabulous time chasing Maisey and exploring the garden. On her walks she loved her sniffs and meeting other doggies, she enjoyed being mentally and physically stimulated. At home she was quite happy to just lie and watch TV - and annoy the cats if they got attention. She has an exuberant nature and loves life.

But Pepper and Misty stole the show, they absolutely adored Richard. Richard loves minding cats, they just love being around him. Not that they don't come to me for pats and cuddles but I have to encourage them away from Richard... But eventually they just make their way back to sit on his lap 😍.

It was only a quick pet-sit but thoroughly enjoyable 🤗.

The girls are 13 now. Holly can still bounce like a pup at times (dinner times 🤣😋), Ginger a bit more subdued with her joints.

Their beauty still turn heads and they are very popular with the locals who know them well. Our slow walks are even slower when we meet lots of people who know them - or Yip. Ginger loves Yip 😍.

They are always so we behaved and we love looking after them for their wonderful owners.

Lovely to catch up with Adele, Marlie & Xena ❤️.

Marlie is just the sweetest little girl with the most adorable eyes. She is very placid, although got a bit jealous when Xena got attention 😄.

Xena has 3 legs due to an unfortunate accident but Adele has nursed her back to a full recovery and she still has a great life and bring joy to the household 🥰.

We just had to catch up with Amber and Lionel 🐕. Lionel had a back op earlier this year and so it was wonderful to see his fantastic recovery. We miss snuggles with him on the lounge since they moved from Orange. He has grown up to be such a handsome lad 🥰.

Gerringong has the best leash-free area. So many pups and the view is amazing!

It was a last minute request to mind Jake at Corlette and it was on our way home (sort of 😊).

Jakey is a gorgeous 14 year old Maltese. He is a healthy boy except for an age-related limp, which is hardly noticeable when he gets stirred up meeting dogs 😬. He certainly can bark - loud, dramatic, animated ie. embarassing! 😆. But after several introductions, he was good as gold 🤩.

He's just beautiful, although a bit of a sad-sack at first as he misses his mum, but full of excitement when his harness came out for walkies 🐕.

He is a fussy eater but a great sleeper - and loooves his chin scratched and chest rubbed (just like Sweetie ❤️). At an equivalent of 72 human years, he's entitled to sleep most of the day - and night, and he does it well 😴😌😍😄.

Once he realised we were his companions, we were greeted with howls and barks and excitable zoomies with toys. I soon had a little shadow - which was lovely 🥰
