A big congratulations to Ella Weaven who owns Bradgate Park Reykjavik aka Rumble on their success at the Riverina Dressage Festival on the weekend. Rumble was expertly piloted by Megan Bryant Equestrian to come away with Reserve Champion Prepartory horse at his very first competition with scores up to 70.5%.
This young horse has a big future ahead of him and we are so excited to see where it goes. So exciting watching our babies thrive in their new homes.

A little update for those checking in on our beautiful Demi. We left her c**t with her for a day and a bit for her to come to terms with his loss until she started to leave his body and buried him the next morning. It was so heart breaking watching her mourn her foal and trying her best to wake him up and watch over him so carefully.
She is getting brighter by the day and eating well. We have kept her isolated until we rule out an infectious cause and to protect our other mares. As much as if love her to have companionship with another horse but she does have a friend next door.
We have cultured both her placenta and her uterus which hasnt revealed a common pathogen so we dont suspect placentitis as the cause. She has had a piece of retained placenta that broke off during foaling and is requiring daily lavaging and antibiotics. It has been quiet nasty but we are turning the corner with that finally after a few days. Unfortunately that means we havent been able to offer her as a foster mare as she is needing intensive medical treatment and risk of infection for a foal.
I need to do some more investigation into the possibility of a fescue toxicity issue but we may never get an answer as to why this has happened. She just may not be a viable candidate as a broodmare going forward. Being a vet this is so disappointing when you can do everything right and it can all still go so wrong and you cant save them. In the mean time she is getting plenty of hugs from her favourite humans and ample butt scratches.
But most importantly our mare will be okay and we will be watching the rest of the herd closely with regular scans and possibly vacating the paddock these girls were in.

Sadly we are not off to a good start for the season and my gut instincts were correct that something was wrong.
We lost our first beautiful black Bellario c**t out of Bradgate Park Deception this morning at 3am to a red bag birth. I was present and cut the bag, assisted the delivery and attempted CPR with oxygen and chest compressions but sadly he was never going to take a breath. The placenta had begun separating in the last few days and was quiet compromised which caused the rapid bagging up. Unfortunately he appeared to have died prior to active labour starting.
Most importantly Demi is okay. Sad but okay as am I. She has had some pain relief and is grieving with her foal for now.
The Bradgate Park curse strikes again.
Rest in Peace little one.

And foal watch for the 2026 season begins!
Demi started to bag up on Wednesday and 5 days later at exactly 320 days appears to have issued her eviction notice.
But who knows with mares - she certainly isn't reading the text book!

Have you always wanted to purchase your own warmblood foal to train from start to finish? Would you like the opportunity to buy one at an affordable price?

We have 3 foals we are offering for sale in utero - with all the c**t options available and we are giving selected owners an opportunity to purchase at a reduced price to get them into competition homes. The option to buy includes payment plan until weanling, a live foal guarantee and ongoing support from the stud.

All foals are by our standing stallion Bellario (imp)
Bellario is renowned for producing talented progeny with exceptional temperaments and owners absolutely rave about how much they love these horses. Competitive but also amateur owner friendly. His progeny have excelled in all three Olympic disciplines and also show horse classes - both internationally and in Australia. He was awarded a perfect 10 for rideability in his 6yo class at the Sydney CDI which he went on to win.
His personal competition highlights include:
🌟National 5 & 6 yo Young Horse Champion
🌟Multinational Champion
🌟National PSG Champion achieving score over 70%

Now for the mares:
Bradgate Park Deception
Demi was an exceptional mare under saddle and gave me one of the most amazing rides I have had on a horse until an injury cut our riding career short. She was training all the PSG work prior to this.
She is a sweet, kind and sensitive mare. She has produced two prior foals for us both sired by a coloured stallion who have exceptional temperaments as well as her big movement. One is currently at the breakers for his new owner who absolutely adores him. This foal will be eligible for AWHA registration.
De Niro x Rotspon
In Utero Price - $10,000

Bradgate Park Allicat
Allicat is the full sister to Bradgate Park Amadeus, the Dressage NSW Big Tour Horse of the Year for 2025. This mare comes from a strong dam line of highly competitive dressage horses. This foal will be a serious contender for a professional and with Bellarios temperament on top - the trainability should be the perfect combination to produce a superstar. This foal will be eligible for AWHA registration.
Ampere x Don Ramiro
In Utero Price - $12,000

Kingfield Pippa
Pippa is a lovely young mare we purchased last year due to her trainability under saddle, floating movement and a splash of jumping lines in her pedigree. There is 50% chance the foal will be grey. This mare is a seriously cool character to have around and the temperament of this foal will suit a competitive amateur owner or professional looking for a horse that will be competitive in every discipline. Registration pending
Furst Love x Daley K
In Utero Price - $10,000

Video is available of all mares on request and viewings are most welcome. References for our stud and integrity are also available on request to serious buyers to know you are buying from a reputable seller. Located Orange, NSW.

Mr Fancy Pants aka Zenith showing off his powerful moves instead of heading back into his paddock today.
This certainly is an amazing cross - conformation, temperament, movement and athleticism. Certainly showing stallion potential.
