Nearly 11 years
🐾 What do you love most about helping clients?
Creating a long-lasting relationship built on friendliness and trust. Celebrating the joy with clients in happy times, and offering support and care for clients during the saddest of times is a privilege never taken for granted.
🐾What’s the most common question you get?
"Can I ask a question about my account, please?"
🐾What do you enjoy most about working with pets?
Being greeted by a waggly tail and licky-kisses from many a doggo, to a good head butt and happy purr from a moochy cat. I just love the wide variety of animals we see, and listening to stories of the unique bond shared between each pet and their human. Oh, and finding out the background behind some very unusual pet names is always entertaining!!
🐾What makes our clinic special?
The dedication and care our whole Team provides to each and every patient (and their humans). Whether it be our Vets, our Nurses, our Groomers or our Support Team, all go above and beyond to ensure that you and your pet receives the best service possbile, the best outcome possible, and the best experience possible.
🐾Do you have pets? Tell us about them!
- Murphy - my "larger than life" 7yo Shetland Sheepdog - he stole my heart from the moment I met him as a 6 week old puppy. His breeder bought him into our clinic for his first vaccination, and the rest as they say, is history!
- Harley - he's my "toy obsessed" 15 month old Blue Heeler who loves nothing more than being 'up close and personal' (unless there is a toy in the room - then that'll win every time!!)
- Henry - he's a 6yo 'rescue cat' - I don't think I know many people who work in a Vet Clinic that don't have a rescue cat, right? - one is bound to come your way! Henry has his own set of rules, one being that he gets extra cranky if I don't sit down early enough in the evening for him to have his mandatory 'cuddle time'.
- We may also have a rescue turtle (or 3), and plenty of goldfish in our pond. They seem to be prolific breeders, with new babies seen around Christmas-time every year. My favourites are the 'speckled fantails'.
🐾Favorite hobby outside of work?
I'm a self- confessed nerd. Really enjoy jigsaw puzzles (I often puzzle way past my bedtime!!), cross-stitch, reading & gardening. However for a bit of excitement, I do love to hop on the back of my hubby's Harley and go for a long cruise with good pub meal thrown in there somewhere along the way.
