🐾HELP BRING BOO HOME🐾
🛟 UPDATE: 04.06 Still Missing - Owner was found without shoes and pants and was muddy. If anyone finds shoes or pants, possibly along the Plenty River, please do a location pin drop on maps and make contact asap.

🐾 MISSING DOG – BOO 🐾
We urgently need your help to bring Boo home. 💔

🗺️ Greensborough / Plenty Gorge Area, Victoria

🐕 Boo’s owner was reported missing on 28th May 2026 📅 and was last seen with Boo on 29th May 2026 near WaterMarc Greensborough 👀

On 31st May 2026, Boo’s owner was thankfully found near Plenty and Gorge Rd after being seen exiting The Gorge from Teatree Drive — however, Boo was not with him and remains missing 💔

⚠️ It is currently unknown whether Boo was on a lead or not, and given she is elderly, there is concern she may be hurt or stuck.

📍 At this stage, Boo may still be lost somewhere in or around Plenty Gorge Reserve.

📍 Boo and her owner frequently walk the Plenty River Track, visit the Whatmough Park area, and the Greensborough Plaza area.

🐶 About Boo:
• Elderly female dog 🐾
• Likely frightened, confused and searching for her owner 💔
• May be hiding or stuck in The Gorge or nearby areas 🌳

If you see Boo:
⚠️ Please do not chase if she appears frightened
📸 Take a photo if possible
📍 Note the exact location
🕒 Include the date and time seen

📢 Please share far and wide — especially around Greensborough, Plenty Gorge, Bundoora, Mill Park, Diamond Creek, and surrounding areas.

Every share, every sighting matters and could help get this beautiful girl safely back home. 🩷🐾

!!!Paralytic Tick Alert!!!!

We recently identified a Paralytic Tick on one of our furry friends, so we would like to remind pet owners to stay alert and ensure their pets are protected.

What are Paralytic Ticks?
Paralytic ticks are dangerous ticks that attach to your pet and release a toxin that can cause serious illness.

Signs to look out for:
• Weakness or wobbliness in the legs
• Vomiting or coughing
• Change in bark or meow
• Difficulty breathing
• Loss of appetite
• Paralysis progressing from the back legs forward

If left untreated, Paralytic Tick poisoning can become life-threatening very quickly.

Prevention is the best protection!
We have effective tick preventative treatments available to help keep your pets safe all year round.

If you notice any unusual symptoms, find a tick on your pet, or have any questions about tick prevention, please contact the friendly team at Emerald Vet — we are always happy to help protect your furry family members ❤️

🐶 After an intense 'Pawsuit' involving two Somerville Highway Patrol officers and a sneaky dog, a puppetrator was located safe and sound!

George, an eleven-month-old golden labrador puppy was apprehended after several promising leads involving muddy paw prints & running in front of cars on Bentons Road, Mornington on Sunday afternoon.

Highway Patrol members Senior Constables Craig & Reece say George attempted to evade capture by deploying advanced distraction tactics like rolling on his back for tummy pats, aggressively wagging his tail & ear scratches.

George surrendered peacefully and behaved pawfectly whilst in their custody. No charges were laid, however George was definitely guilty of stealing hearts and is expected to serve a lengthy sentence where he will be forced to have treats and being called a good boy by his very thankful family ❤🐕

To all our Westerfolds Park Clients, please be aware. Parks Victoria have reported that they are only shooting introduced “pests” - rabbits, foxes and deer. At no time will our local mobs of kangaroos be harmed. They have done this before but are stepping up again this year to protect the biodiversity along the river.
