You’ve met MyPet Co. Now it’s probably time you met the person behind it 🐾👋🏼

Hi, I’m Jeanie — founder of MyPet Co, full-time JD student, YFC committee member and someone who apparently enjoys giving herself more things to do than there are hours in a day 😂

Today was a little different from my usual routine of lectures, readings and trying to keep MyPet Co moving forward.

I spent the day working with Hudson and the YFC crew — planning, filming, throwing around ideas and, naturally, creating a very long editing list for myself 🫠📱

But days like this are a reminder of why I love building things.

There’s so much that happens behind a small business that you don’t see on the product page — the ideas, the setbacks, the pivots, the late nights, the tiny wins and figuring things out as you go.

And that’s something I want to show you more of.

Not just the finished products, but the real journey of building MyPet Co while studying full-time and trying to make it all work.

It’s messy. It’s exciting. It’s sometimes overwhelming. But I genuinely believe in what I’m building 🐶💛

🤝 Building a business is rarely a solo mission.

Some of the biggest opportunities, ideas and lessons come from simply getting out there, meeting people and having conversations.

As a founder, I’m learning that networking isn’t just about “who you know” — it’s about finding people who challenge your thinking, open doors, share their experience and sometimes just remind you that you’re not the only one figuring it out. 🐾

A little reminder I’m giving myself lately: you don’t have to maximise everything. 🤍

Saturday lately 🤍🐾

Weekends don’t always look like weekends when you’re building something from the ground up.

Between working on MyPetCo, building something I’m genuinely so excited about with YFC, and doing uni full-time… there’s a LOT going on right now 😅💻📚

It’s definitely not always glamorous (and motivation isn’t always there), but I’m learning that building the life and businesses I want means showing up anyway.

One weekend, one deadline, one idea, one step at a time 🫶🏼✨

Building something amazing — even when it feels messy behind the scenes. 🐶💛

Not every day feels productive. And honestly, motivation has been pretty low lately. 🫠

But I’m learning that building something doesn’t mean waiting until you feel motivated to do it.

Sometimes it’s just discipline. 💪🏼 Showing up, doing what you can, and staying consistent — even when you’d rather not.

So today looked like a bit of uni 📚, a bit of MyPetCo 🐾, and trying to keep both moving forward without overwhelming myself.

Practising what I preach: small steps still count. 🤍

spend a day with me — mental health edition 🤍

last week I took a whole day completely off uni. no catching up, no guilt, just giving myself permission to slow down and actually be present.

life isn’t always rainbows and sunshine, and I’m learning that being grounded doesn’t mean having everything figured out. sometimes it just means knowing when you need to pause.

honestly, I loved my friday 🫶🏼

trying to be a little more real, a little more present, and a lot kinder to myself.
