This is an UGLY and VULNERABLE post I feel I have to make.

So you can all see how loveable this beautiful man truly is. His love clearly knows no boundaries! 🤦‍♀️🤭

🧡 Simba seeking a calm, patient forever home 🧡

LOCATION
Pakenham, VIC
AGE
4 years 6 months
ADOPTION FEE
$120.00
MICROCHIP NUMBER

Simba is not a confident cat with strangers. He is extremely fearful of unfamiliar people and environments, and when scared he will hide and completely shut down.

Potential adopters need to understand the loving, affectionate cat I know is not the cat they will immediately see. Simba needs time, patience, and gentle humans willing to let him adjust at his own pace.

Once Simba feels safe, he becomes the most affectionate, goofy, larger than life companion imaginable.

About Simba:
🧡 Approx 4 years old
🧡 Desexed
🧡 Vaccinated
🧡 Microchipped
🧡 Litter trained
🧡 Healthy and thriving

Simba’s personality:
🧡 Extremely affectionate once bonded
🧡 Sleeps beside you and follows you around
🧡 Big puppy energy
🧡 Playful, cheeky, and food motivated
🧡 Loves attention and cuddles
🧡 Can be dramatic and hilarious

Important things to know:
🧡 Simba was originally a stray cat and is still learning confidence and appropriate social skills
🧡 He desperately wants companionship from other animals but never learned how to interact appropriately
🧡 He can become rough and overexcited during play, which overwhelms other pets
🧡 Because of this, Simba needs to be an only pet
🧡 Quiet home preferred
🧡 Older teens or adults only

Simba has spent the last 10 months learning humans and indoor life are safe and enjoyable. He has come so incredibly far and deserves a home willing to continue that journey with him.

I absolutely adore this cat, but my busy household is not the peaceful environment he truly needs to thrive.

The right person for Simba will gain a once in a lifetime kind of companion 🧡

I truly cannot thank ARC enough for helping me out of a pickle with such a generous donation of litter supplies for my little hoard of rescues 🤍

Most of the cats were far more interested in treats than sitting nicely for photos, but every single bag will make such a difference for animals who have already been through so much.

What ARC does, and what the people who donate to and support them help make possible, genuinely saves lives. It’s not just supplies. It’s relief for rescuers trying to keep going, comfort for animals waiting for safety, and support that allows rescues and carers to continue doing what they do for vulnerable animals every single day.

Rescue can be exhausting, overwhelming, and expensive, so kindness like this means more than words can explain. Thank you for helping not only my rescues, but so many animals and the people fighting for them behind the scenes every day 🐾🤍

Meet Mishka 🩶

📍LOCATION - Pakenham, VIC
7️⃣ AGE - 7 years old
💰ADOPTION FEE - $150.00
💉MICROCHIP NUMBER - 991003000097414

Professional biscuit maker, full-time smooch enthusiast, and part-time arm tapper demanding more pats immediately.
Mishka is not the cat we expected… he’s somehow even better.

Almost a week after moving in, this gorgeous boy has revealed himself to be the biggest, neediest, snuggliest love bug imaginable. Once he trusts you, personal space becomes a distant memory. He’ll gently tap your arm if you stop patting him, then stare at you like: “Excuse me? The cuddles were not finished.”

And can we talk about those looks? Mishka is a stunning Classic Silver Tabby, which is actually quite uncommon. The rare silver colouring is a special genetic combination that doesn’t happen often, making Mishka just as unique on the outside as he is on the inside.

The Important Stuff
✅ Desexed
✅ Vaccinated (not due again for another year)
✅ Microchipped
✅ Flea & worm treated
✅ Litter trained

Mishka’s Ideal Home 🏡
Mishka will need to be an only cat.
In his previous home, there were ongoing stressors involving another cat in the household as well as a roaming neighbour’s cat. While we can’t guarantee this is the trigger behind his spraying behaviour, it’s clear that multi-cat environments are stressful for him. Since being separated, he has shown he enjoys his own space and prefers human companionship over feline friendships. We have had no spraying.

His perfect home would include:
💕Older teens or adults who understand and respect cat boundaries
(even if Mishka himself sometimes forgets boundaries exist when demanding affection)
💕A calm, predictable household without constant change or chaos
💕Patient humans willing to let him settle in slowly and build trust at his own pace
💕Someone genuinely committed to giving him a forever home

Once Mishka loves you, he really loves you.
If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a couch companion, and a cat who will adore you with his whole heart, Mishka might just be your perfect match. 🩶

Mishka is searching for his forever home and safe humans 💕

Non negotiables:
• Home inspection prior to approval
• No other pets
• Calm, gentle home

Mishka was surrendered to a vet clinic where he waited for two weeks, hoping someone would step in to give him a second chance.

Through no fault of his own, Mishka did not feel safe in his previous home. We believe this built up over time, eventually leading to him spraying as a stress response. Sadly, this became the breaking point for his owner, with no attempts made to understand or resolve the behaviour.

At 7 years old, everything Mishka has ever known has been taken from him. Even in a life where he didn’t feel safe, it was still his world. Now he has lost that too.

Mishka is fear reactive, not aggressive.
He needs someone who understands this difference.

He needs patience, kindness, and the space to decompress at his own pace. Someone willing to let him come to them when he feels safe, not rush or expect too much too soon.

Mishka is:
• Microchipped
• Desexed
• Vaccinated, valid for the next year thanks to The Cat Lovers Frankston
• Comes with food, anxiety support medication, and supplements

I don’t have many photos just yet as his wellbeing comes first. Right now, the focus is helping him feel safe and settle into a new environment 💕

If you can offer Mishka the calm, understanding home he deserves, please reach out.
Or even just a share to help him find his person would mean everything 🤍

Ps photos don’t don’t do him justice he is absolutely stunning and by far the biggest cat I have met x

I’m awful at updates, I apologise 💕 Bentleigh update 💕

Bentleigh was ready to head off to a potential home (He still went to meet them and she loves him 🥰) but then a lump appeared. We have been treating it for a couple of weeks with two visits this week.

We seen the surgeon on Wednesday who believes we’re just dealing with an infection that the antibiotics weren’t working for. We’re swapping to a much broader oral antibiotics and watching him over the next week.

Whilst front seat rides and tuna isn’t ideal. This boy is royalty and gets whatever makes him happy for the time being 💕

**I keep his face clean. The photos were after his vet appointment so I allowed him space and time to decompress first x

, you've got some 'splainin' to do! 😭 Foster Simba's all grown up with his new High Bed Scratch Post - no more snoozing on my bed 😅😭. Seeing him happy makes my day, but I'm a little hurt I've been replaced so easily 💕.

Just look at that happy face! 🥰😍

Where is Bentleigh’s person? Seriously… we’re starting to think you’re running late 🥹

Because this boy? He deserved his happily ever after yesterday.

About a month ago, some of you might remember the “free to good home” senior cat on Facebook.. the one with cancer.
What we found when we picked him up was far worse than anyone could imagine. He didn’t just have cancer… it had been left so long that it had completely rotted away, leaving a large, open, weeping wound. Ten years of being pushed outside, forgotten, and left to fend for himself.

That cat is Bentleigh.

And despite every reason not to trust humans… he is the gentlest, sweetest, most loving soul you could ever meet. Truly. A soft, squishy, Churu-obsessed gentleman who just wants someone to love him back.

But here’s the honest part..
Our home is chaos. It’s loud, busy, full of animals, and while we’ve given him safety and care, it’s not the peaceful, devoted life he deserves. We can see it… he’s overwhelmed, and it’s dimming his spark a little 💔

Bentleigh doesn’t need much. Just the right home.

✨ A calm, quiet environment
✨ A human (or humans) who want a loyal shadow and gentle companion
✨ No loud or boisterous dogs (he’s absolutely terrified and we suspect he’s been attacked before)
✨ Possibly a calm, kind cat friend, but he’ll need time and patience to trust again

The practical bits:
• 10 years old
• Vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, parasite treated
• Litter trained
• Prefers wet food (and yes… he will judge you if dinner is late)
• No ongoing medical needs, but sun safety is important ☀️
• Comes with one ear instead of two… which honestly just adds character and saves you cleaning time 😉

And most importantly…
• Comes with a heart so big it somehow survived everything he’s been through

We’re not looking for any home. We’re looking for his home. His person. His safe place.

‼️WARNING‼️GRAPHIC‼️IMAGES‼️

Im hoping to share Bentleigh’s story to help raise the money for his surgery coming this Wednesday.

https://gofund.me/c79177fb7

Bentleigh was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma months ago and recently listed to be given away for free after ten years as he was with them from a kitten.

Without treatment, the cancer continued to progress. It has eaten away at an entire ear which in now an open, weeping, rotten wound to explain it as simple as possible 😭😭😭surgical removal of the surrounding tissues and his other ear is required to stop the disease spreading further.

He remained outdoors after the diagnosis, which only worsens this type of cancer. By the time help was sought, this was no longer early-stage. It is advanced and urgent to the point two vets wanted to euthanise to end his suffering 😞

He has been living like this.

Despite it all, he is gentle. He purrs. He leans into touch. He is an affectionate loving soul.

Right now he needs immediate veterinary care, pain relief, and the safety of an indoor life. If you’re able to help share his story, it could help give him a chance at a life he deserves 🤞🙏🫶

**He is booked in next Wednesday, the vets moved around their schedules to get him in the soonest available spot that both vets who will be operating are working 🤞 Please keep him in your thoughts
