STOCKIST SHOUTOUT | BLACK DAISY, PAMBULA

Some stockists become much more than places where you find our bags.

Black Daisy in Pambula has been part of the Where The Wilde Things Are story for many years, and over that time we have built such a lovely relationship with the two Michelles behind this beautiful store.

They have introduced our bags to so many of their loyal customers over the years, and there is something very special about knowing our designs have found their way into homes, wardrobes and adventures through a store that has supported us for so long.

And what a lovely place to find them!

Pambula, on the beautiful Sapphire Coast of NSW, is one of those destinations that draws you back, again and again. Whether you are lucky enough to live locally or are one of the many visitors who flock to this part of the coast, Black Daisy is well worth putting on your list of places to visit.

It is a favourite destination of ours, too. Although, as you can see from the second & third photos, Finn may have slightly different reasons for loving the Sapphire Coast. Give him a beach and he will run and swim for hours. 🐾

So this Stockist Shoutout comes with an extra special thank you to the two Michelles, for all the years of friendship, support and for continuing to share Where The Wilde Things Are with your lovely customers.

Next time you're in Pambula, pop into Black Daisy and say hello from us. 🩷🐾

Might this necklace be the smallest you've ever seen?
From first fitting to finished piece (I ultimately went for a larger pearl, as seen in the 2nd picture), these Swarovski lilac crystal pearls are the perfect choice for this little Princess.
You'd have to agree she is a natural in front of a camera.
Finally back at my jewellers' bench after a few weeks of quiet time. 💛

Some of you may have noticed it's been very quiet around here for a while.
A couple of months ago, we said goodbye to our beautiful Charlie after 14 years, and I simply haven't been ready to return to social media until now.
These photos sum him up perfectly. Always there, always involved and, given the opportunity, always front and centre. 💛
So before I return to sharing the bags, travels and stories of Where The Wilde Things Are, it seems only right that Charlie gets one last moment front and centre here too.
We miss him enormously, but it feels like it's time to slowly find our way back. 💛
Charlie

The world is full of places to go.
Some are marked on maps. Others are discovered quite by accident.
🧭
Our Four Points of the Compass bag was designed for those journeys in between. The unexpected detours. The hidden laneways. The favourite café you'll never find again. The moments that become stories.
☕️
Crafted from natural fibres- jute and cotton, finished with adjustable leather straps and our signature compass-inspired stitching, it's a bag that feels as though it's already travelled a little before it found you.
Shown here in Persian Blue, a colour inspired by distant horizons and endless skies.
Where would you take yours?
