Fabulous Barney today telling my how much he loves our Aussie beef 🥩 jerky!
At 9yrs his family came into my store to ask my nutritional advice. After years of heaps vet visits to help clear up his ye**ty ears, joint pain, gut issues, murky eyes & carrying too much weight - giving him medication, eardrops, creams, highly processed kibble & canned food ( I use the term food lightly here!! )…. He still hadn’t improved!
First thing I always ask - WHAT are you feeding your Dog??🐕
My sugggestion was to move Barney to:
✅fresh diet
✅raw meaty bones 🦴 like: lamb neck pieces, roo or lamb ribs, duck necks ( these proceed protein/calcium/fibre )
✅ carrot 🥕 or broccoli 🥦 or celery to munch on daily for nutrients and fibre
✅a boiled or poached ( in water not oil ) every other day & grind up and all the shell
✅ dash of ACV daily to food & 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
✅fast him a day a week to allow organs to rest from digesting food
✅ only 100% natural Australian single protein treats airdried like those we sell
⛔️NO more dental stix ( often potato/wheat/sugar 🤢)
⛔️NO more kibble or canned food!

So what I’ve suggested has:
✅increased his hydration without ANY fillers/preservatives/chemicals
✅increased his fibre with raw bones & veggies & single protein treats like shark 🦈 cartlidge, kangaroo tendons
Today we see a healthier Cocker Spaniel that:
- has a waist having lost a kilo already ✅
- ye**ty ears have cleared up ✅
- eyes are clearer ✅
- coat is shinier reflecting his new food I’ve formulated
- Barney has better mobility & more energy ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
He still has a few kilo to lose but what a HUGE difference

GRASS SEEDS are nasty to Dogs! They can get stuck in ears, ge****ls, paws 🐾 between toes, in the skin!!
- check your Dog after every walk
- brush out their coat to loosen any in their fur
- check between toes / paws 🐾 / ears
- if you find a grass seed in these areas don’t attempt to pull it out… as they can embed themselves further
- get to a vet straight away
I check mine after each walk …
