A dog can know the odour and still fail in the field.

Oh Hey! 👋 stop changing your cues.. your dog doesn’t speak human.. don’t say “sit” then change it to “sit down” and wonder why your dog tilts his cute head like wtf..🤷‍♀️ Keep your cues/commands consistent so you can communicate with your dog.. he said it’s getting frustrating 😉 This applies to truffle dogs and all dogs.. obedience work or scent work.. consistency is key.. Have fun!

keep it fun.. keep it simple.. When the pressure goes up, performance drops. That’s where most training breaks.

Working dogs requires the human to have fitness too! It was a a bit warm today - so I didn’t take Bluey on this run but I did take myself.. and I did take Bluey out this morning to the park for some fun when it was cooler
