🐾 POPPET UPDATE! 🩵

Well, it seems our little Poppet may actually be a little BOY! 🤣 A certain round and fuzzy discovery down below has us thinking we might need to change a few pronouns! 🍒

Our little Pops headed off to the vet this morning, and unfortunately, he’s got a few hurdles ahead of him.

🐾 He has a small growth on his mouth.

🐾 He’s battling cat flu.

🐾 And then there’s his little eye. 💔 We’re treating it with ointment and hoping the swelling settles enough to give us a clearer picture. At the moment, it almost looks as though there’s no eyeball in there, but it’s too difficult to tell.

Despite everything this little boy has going on, he’s purring his little heart out, polishing off his dinner and enjoying his belly rubs. 🩵

We know there’s a long road ahead for our precious Pops, with more veterinary care and plenty of TLC needed, but we’re here for it.

🙏Thank you so very much to everyone who has already shown Poppet so much love. If you’d like to help us with his ongoing veterinary expenses, our fundraiser is linked in our bio. Every little bit helps us give this gorgeous boy the chance he deserves.

💕 PLEASE MEET POPPET. 💕
Sometimes, a little face comes into our care that just breaks your heart.

This is Poppet😻.
A little girl weighing just 1.3kg, carrying more than she should be at her young age.
Her eyes are damaged, her little mouth is full of infection and pus, and it’s heartbreaking to imagine how long she’s been living like this.
But despite everything, there’s a beautiful, sweet little girl behind that battered face. And that tiny tongue poking out? Well, that just makes her even more precious.
Poppet is heading to the vet tomorrow, where we’ll begin finding out exactly what she needs and what can be done to help her.

We don’t yet know what her treatment will involve or how much it will cost, but we do know one thing.

Poppet deserves a chance. And we’re going to give her one. ❤️

As a volunteer-run rescue, taking on little souls like Poppet comes with enormous veterinary expenses, and we’re asking our wonderful community to help us give this little girl the care she so desperately needs.

🙏 If you can spare even a few dollars towards Poppet’s veterinary bills, it would mean the world to us.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us take another step towards giving Poppet a more comfortable, happier future.

And if you’re unable to donate, sharing her story would be just as appreciated.

Little Poppet didn’t choose the life she’s had so far.

But together, we can help change the life she has ahead of her. 💕

🐾 Donate via the link in our bio.

With love,
