When we first got Tiga, walks were not great. He would drag you down the street and lunge at every dog. I wanted to make loose leash training easier by having my hands free for treats, while still knowing he was securely attached to me if he spotted another dog.

Could I have just bought a hands-free leash? Not really, because everything I found was made for small dogs. Tiny clips, rough rope, nothing I could actually trust if Tiga decided to lunge at full force.

So I made my own.

Hi, I'm Didi and I make rope dog leashes for medium to large dogs, designed to make you feel in control on every walk.

I used equestrian rope because it's soft on your hands, so even when your dog pulls you won't be left with rope burn. And a heavy duty carabiner I'd actually trust when Tiga decides it's lunge time.

What started as one leash for one very chaotic dog became Mighty Tiga.

Because we start cutting the rope the moment you place an order.
All our rope leashes are made by hand in Melbourne.
We do not have pre-made stock sitting in a warehouse. Just us, with freshly cut rope and a whole lot of care.
