🐎 The hands, the eyes and the hearts behind the horses. 🤍
While so much of the attention during Spring Racing Carnival is on what happens on the track, there’s a whole team of people working quietly behind the scenes, putting their heart into caring for these horses.
To the trainers and ground staff and everyone behind the scenes who dedicate so much of their time to the horses in their care.
To the strappers who know every little quirk, every personality and the smallest changes in the horses they care for each day.
To the equine physiotherapists who know each horse’s unique way of moving, notice the smallest changes and understand all those little movement quirks that make them who they are.
To the farriers who understand every angle, every posture and the subtle shifts in weight-bearing, recognising the little details that make each horse unique.
To the vets who bring their knowledge, experience and dedication to supporting the health and wellbeing of these athletes.
There are so many skilled hands, experienced eyes and passionate people involved in supporting these equine athletes.
I feel incredibly lucky to be one small part of that team, doing what I love and helping these horses feel and move their best. 🤍
It’s the little moments, the attention to detail and the people behind the scenes that often mean the most.
Because there’s so much more to Spring Racing Carnival than what we see on the track. 🐎🌸
