March 13th, after Rabbit Runaway Orphanage put out a call for help, them, along with a kind member of the public, managed to catch this rabbit, now known as Geraldine and brought her to out clinic.

She presented with a large wound on her back and ear mites.
After being assessed by Dr. Brendan she was sent home with treatment under the care of Rabbit Runaway Orphange.

Geraldine returned to our clinic a little over a week for a recheck. The ear mites had resolved and the wound was healing nicely with the treatments, which inlcuded the wonderful F10 Germicidal Barrier Ointment.

Last week Geraldine was desexed. The skin wound has completely healed - great to see we did not need to perform surgery!

We are so thankful to the kind person who helped catch the rabbit and, as always, to Rabbit Runaway Orphanage for all the great work that they do and the care they provide these fantastic creatures.
