Elle Grooms Our mission is to care for your pet's grooming needs with honesty & authenticity, with the best products and care possible. Melbourne.

We provide a boutique grooming service in a relaxed and quiet salon setting in Springvale, with Playtime offered for small groups. Elle Grooms is a locally owned Boutique Dog Grooming Salon based in Springvale, S.E. We book by appointment only, to ensure your dog has our whole attention for their grooming appointment, because they deserve it. Elle and Heidi make up the grooming team. Together we have 15+ years of professional grooming experience and specialise in cute maintenance grooms, large working breeds like German Shepherds, and rehabilitation for dogs with behavioural issues around grooming. Elle Grooms Salon is cage free, and small numbers of dogs only with a big focus on safety. Our goal is to provide Luxury Grooming for the Deserving Dog, because all dogs deserve great care.

For those of you who haven’t met Lance yet… 🐾
This is Lance, our official salon assistant, professional model and full-time chaos coordinator 😂
He’s usually somewhere around the salon, keeping an eye on what’s happening, making sure everyone gets enough cuddles and generally making himself at home.
He’s also my favourite little grooming guinea pig and has been a big part of the Elle Grooms journey. 🤍

So if you see a very handsome, slightly cheeky face popping up around here… you’ll know who it is!

Want to make your dog’s grooming experience a little easier? 🐾
A few simple things you can practise at home can make a BIG difference:
🐾 Get them comfortable with having their paws handled — gently touch and hold their paws regularly so it becomes a normal part of their routine.
💙 Introduce brushing gradually — start with short, positive sessions and build up over time. There’s no need to tackle a full brushing session all at once!
✨ Reward calm behaviour — treats, praise and positive reinforcement can help your dog associate grooming with good things.

Little habits at home can help make grooming a much more positive experience for everyone, especially your groomer! 😉

We don’t just groom dogs. We learn them. 🐾

Every dog has their own personality, boundaries and needs, and understanding those things is a huge part of creating a positive grooming experience.

But learning a dog also means paying attention to the little things. We look for changes or abnormalities that may be worth flagging, and where appropriate, help you recognise when it might be worth discussing with your vet or physio.

Years of grooming, learning and working with different behaviours has taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

We meet the dog in front of us, pay attention to what they’re telling us, and work from there. 🤍
