ITCHY SKIN AND EARS!!
It’s finally Spring! But for many of us, and for our pets, that means ALLERGIES.
Dogs, like Charlie the Cavoodle here, can suffer from allergies especially at this time of year. That means itchy skin/paws/ears, sneezing and reverse-sneezing, runny eyes, bottom licking or scooting due to inflammed and full a**l glands, and sometimes even digestive issues like soft stools.
Cavoodles and other Oodles (Poodle cross-breeds) are unfortunately particularly predisposed to allergies, and they can suffer with them either at certain times of the year or all-year round, depending on if they have seasonal or non-seasonal allergies.
As a mobile vet, I see a lot of dogs like Charlie and I give owners the tools to help them manage their dogs’ allergic issues - meaning less vet visits for recurrent ear infections and itchy skin.
If your dog or cat is suffering from recurrent itchy skin or ears, or seems prone to soft faeces, they might be suffering from allergies.
