MEET OREO!

When I first met Oreo, she was struggling with alot of pain as a result of an accident, her skin was infected all over her body and she was experiencing uncomfortable nights.

6 weeks later, with the help of her dedicated owners and the treatment plan we created specifically to meet her needs, Oreo has a new lease on life!

Did you know that colder weather can make stiff and sore joints even more uncomfortable for our pets? 🐶💙
As a vet for nearly 15 years, here are 4 COMMON MYTHS I hear from pet owners about their dog's mobility and joint health:

🐕 MYTH #1: Slowing down is just a normal part of aging
❌ FALSE!
While older dogs can develop stiff and sore joints, it's important not to dismiss mobility changes as "just old age." Maintaining good mobility and muscle strength is vital for your dog's overall health and wellbeing—and may even help them live longer! 🐾✨

🐕 MYTH #2: My dog limps but never cries out, so they can't be in pain
❌ FALSE!
If your dog is limping, they are feeling pain. Dogs are incredibly stoic and often hide discomfort very well. Just because they're not crying doesn't mean they're not hurting. 💔

🐕 MYTH #3: Arthritis only affects very old dogs
❌ FALSE!
Arthritis can affect younger dogs too, especially those with conditions like hip or elbow dysplasia. Early intervention can make a huge difference in keeping them comfortable and active. 💙

🐕 MYTH #4: Nothing can be done for arthritis
❌ FALSE!
