Winter Wobbles: Helping Older Pets Stay Comfortable

As the mornings are getting colder and winter is not far away, lots of senior pets start to feel the cold in their joints. Up to 80% of dogs over the age of 8 and 90% of cats over 12 years have some degree of osteoarthritis and winter often makes stiffness and soreness more noticeable.

You might notice your pet:
❄️ Moving slower or limping
❄️ Hesitating to jump or climb stairs
❄️ Sleeping more or avoiding walks

Simple changes like warm bedding, gentle exercise, joint supplements, and regular vet check‑ups can make a world of difference.
