Our 15 month old Arielle had her showing debut over the Anzac Day long weekend and showed stellar potential! We think her Champion Mum Nina must have done some whispering in her ear 'cos she took to it all like a pro. As a side note, Bryan Mather was handling for the first time and made it look easy. Impressive effort by them both which was rewarded by Ari coming away with Best of Breed awards for each of the two days of showing. Very proud here :)

Ari and Nina on their first official day as therapy dogs in the rooms. Of course, both schnauzers are seasoned professionals at being in the consulting room, and Ari has made many outings in her Service Dog outfit, but now it's official. After having many clients who said they benefitted from having therapy dogs in the room, Ros Bowyer is opening up her practice to allow people to bring their own dogs, or have Ari/Nina sit in.

This is a long way outside the shrink-wrapped psychology box and is the new RB approach of providing psychological services designed around what people actually want and what works for them (the Recovery principles in action).

Wish us all luck and we'll tell you how it goes.

And here's Eddie, also around the 4 ½ month mark. An all-round star although he wouldn't stand still for Ros, needed some strong male discipline!
