Ever wondered where ALL that fur comes from?! 🐶⁠

Some dogs have what's called a double coat, made up of two layers. The outer coat helps protect them from the elements, while the softer, denser undercoat provides insulation and helps regulate their temperature.⁠
⁠
As the seasons change, particularly heading into spring and warmer weather, many double-coated breeds start shedding more of that undercoat. And trust us, there can be A LOT of it!⁠

Regular brushing at home is important, but our professional deshedding treatments are a great way to help manage all that extra fluff. We use specialised grooming techniques to remove loose undercoat, reduce shedding around the home and keep your dog's coat in great condition.⁠

Groomers spend a lot of time handling your dog from nose to tail. When we see them regularly, we can also become familiar with what feels normal for them.⁠
⁠
Sometimes that means noticing a new lump, bump, skin irritation or other change while grooming.⁠
⁠
Our role isn’t to diagnose what it is. It’s simply to let you know it’s there, so you can keep an eye on it or speak with your vet if needed.⁠
