Bernedoodle Manor Bernedoodles We breed for quality, temperament, trainability that suit families and single people who are prepared to give our puppies time and committment.

We breed beautiful Groodles Standard and medium size for pet homes only, breeders are welcome to contact us, however we normally do not sell to breeders. Groodles need to be part of the family and do not like being left alone for long periods of time. Groodles do require on going coat maintenance, requiring daily brushing and grooming appointments every 6-8 weeks. Once you have a Groodle in your life, you will wonder why it has taken you so long to get one, they are fun, loving and loyal family dogs.

Tavi and Bowie’s gorgeous Medium F1 Bernedoodle babies are just getting more stunning by the day.

Now three and a half weeks old, their little personalities are beginning to emerge, they’re finding their feet, and those beautiful faces just keep getting sweeter.

We are so incredibly proud of this litter. The beautiful traditional tris and striking tri-merles are absolutely gorgeous, and we can’t wait to watch them continue to develop over the coming weeks.

Our gorgeous USA-imported stud, Pugsley 🇺🇸🐾

Pugsley is proudly co-owned by Bernedoodle Manor and Brisbane Bernedoodles & Groodles, and he is absolutely loving farm life!

He loves the great outdoors and has been making the most of this beautiful sunshine today — exploring, relaxing and just enjoying being a dog.

We feel incredibly lucky to have this gorgeous boy as part of our breeding program and are so excited for what his beautiful genetics will bring to our future Bernedoodles.

Puppy snuggles with Tavi and Bowie’s beautiful medium F1 Bernedoodle babies.

As I sit here this afternoon doing my bookwork and answering email enquiries, as usual I have multiple dogs gathered around my feet.

Today we’ve welcomed beautiful Lumi back to the pack for a visit, and one of the loveliest things has been watching her reunite with her best buddy, Blaze.

Blaze and Lumi were actually born on the very same day. Blaze is a purebred Bernese Mountain Dog and Lumi is a Bernedoodle, but these two have been partners in crime since they were young pups.

What I find so beautiful is that even though Lumi hasn’t been in the same house for quite some time, they reconnect immediately. It’s as though no time has passed at all.

We’ve also captured a gorgeous photo of Lumi with her full sibling, little Sadie. Seeing Sadie alongside her gives us such a lovely glimpse of the size she will likely be when she is all grown up.

I absolutely love having the different ages together and watching how naturally they interact.

Our girls really do live so harmoniously together. We don’t have fighting or carrying on within our pack — they simply enjoy each other’s company, find their place and get on with life together.

These quiet afternoons surrounded by our dogs are such a beautiful reminder of why we love what we do so much.

Our beautiful Sunni, our gorgeous Ultra Bernedoodle girl, has had a successful breeding with the very handsome USA-based Bogey!

We are incredibly excited about this pairing and, if all goes to plan, we’ll be welcoming a beautiful litter of Mini Multi-Gen Ultra Bernedoodles.

There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes before we ever make a pairing. We spend countless hours carefully looking at our girls and boys, their genetics, structure, coat genetics and what each dog can bring to the next generation. But above all else, temperament is always at the forefront of our decisions. Our goal is to produce beautiful Bernedoodles with wonderful, loving, family-focused temperaments, alongside the coat qualities and consistency we have worked so hard to develop within our program.

It has certainly been a busy time behind the scenes at Bernedoodle Manor. Along with planning and working on Valerie × Bogey and Sunni × Bogey, we have also been putting an enormous amount of work into developing our new Munchkin lines, which we are so excited to bring to you in 2027.

There is a lot more involved in breeding than simply putting two beautiful dogs together. Every pairing is carefully considered, researched and planned with the next generation in mind.

For Sunni and Bogey, the planning is done, the breeding has been successful, and now we wait… fingers crossed for some very exciting news in the coming weeks!

Tavi is such a wonderful mum. She’s so attentive to her puppies that I sometimes have to remind her it’s okay to take a break, head outside and just be a dog for a little while.

I can’t speak highly enough of the mother dogs in our breeding program. They give their puppies so much care as they grow and prepare for their forever homes. We’re forever grateful for these beautiful girls, and they deserve every bit of recognition for the wonderful job they do.

Tavi and Bowie’s beautiful babies are almost two and a half weeks old, and they’re really starting to find their feet!

They’re up and moving around, exploring their whelping box and becoming more curious about their little world each day. It’s such a gorgeous stage watching their personalities slowly begin to emerge.

Exciting news for 2027 — Munchkin Bernedoodles are coming to Bernedoodle Manor!

So, what is a Munchkin Bernedoodle?

Munchkins combine Bernedoodle with a percentage of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to create a beautiful smaller companion, generally around 5–10kg.

Cavaliers share many of the qualities we adore in the Bernese Mountain Dog — loving, gentle, relaxed and incredibly people-focused — making them a wonderful addition to this smaller line.

Our goal is to produce gorgeous little dogs with beautiful temperaments, that classic Bernedoodle look and lovely fleece or zero-curl coats, all in a much smaller package.

We can’t wait to introduce our first Munchkin litters in 2027!

We are incredibly excited to announce something very special coming to Bernedoodle Manor in 2027…

Introducing our Munchkin Bernedoodles!

So, what exactly is a Munchkin Bernedoodle?

Munchkin Bernedoodles are a thoughtfully developed combination of Bernedoodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel genetics, with the goal of producing a genuinely smaller companion while still retaining the beautiful characteristics we love so much about the Bernese Mountain Dog.

One of the challenges when breeding smaller Bernedoodles is maintaining a good percentage of Bernese Mountain Dog while achieving that beautiful, compact size.

This is where the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel becomes such an exciting addition.

Cavaliers are beautiful companion dogs known for their affectionate, people-focused and gentle nature. They share many of the qualities we adore in the Bernese Mountain Dog — particularly their desire to be close to their humans and their loving family temperament.

By thoughtfully introducing Cavalier genetics into selected Bernedoodle lines, we can work towards producing a much smaller dog without simply continuing to increase the percentage of Poodle to achieve a smaller size.

For Bernedoodle Manor, our goal with our Munchkin program will be to produce beautiful, compact little dogs while retaining meaningful Bernese Mountain Dog genetics and focusing on the traits that are so important to us — temperament, health, structure, coat and predictability.

Depending on the individual pairing, Munchkin Bernedoodles can mature into a wonderfully compact little companion, with some lines producing adults in approximately the 5–10 kg range. As with all of our litters, adult size can never be guaranteed, and expected sizes will be based on the individual parents and genetics behind each pairing.

And when we say “Munchkin”, our goal isn’t simply to breed the smallest dog possible.

It is about creating a beautifully proportioned, healthy little companion that still captures so much of what we love about our Bernedoodles — just in a much smaller package.
