We have been a little quiet here at Mooloolah Oodles.

We made the decision to move to Queensland and stopped our breeding program.

We raised almost 100 healthy and well adjusted puppies and to this day we receive photos and comments about what wonderfully natured and happy dogs we created but there were a small group of people, two men actually who tainted us as a “puppy farm”. They were relentless to pursue us with local council and RSPCA. Neither of these men had the - You know what’s to come to us with their concerns. Just fake report after fake report.

Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing, ever came from their relentless pursuit of us.

What we got was 100 families who adored their beautifully bred pets and now live in beautiful homes.

For those men and those who follow this page that think we were a “Puppy farm”, check out this link below and see what could be approved in Victoria. This is definitely a cause you could sink your energies and complaints into as this my friends is what a puppy farm looks like!!

How does one show love , care, feed and walk 50 dogs daily?

This is deeply concerning. And guess what people, if this is approved, here’s a hot tip, you can call the local council daily to report this Puppy farm and they are obliged to attend and check it out! I know, I’ve been there. 🐾

‼️An application has been lodged with Mount Alexander Shire Council for a puppy factory
According to the application, the proposal would allow for 50 breeding female dogs, along with males and litters of puppies, resulting in up to 150 dogs on the property at any one time.

The plan also includes a dedicated “reproductive room”, with the application stating that all breeding dogs would be artificially inseminated and all births would be conducted by caesarean section.
The breeds proposed include Labradors, Corgis, Cavaliers, and Golden Retrievers.

Oscar’s Law will be lodging a formal objection with council and will also be writing to the Victorian Minister for Agriculture regarding this application.

Fortunately, local residents are passionate, informed, and deeply concerned about the application. A local animal welfare organisation has done the ground work and prepared a helpful guide explaining how members of the public can submit objections. Please head to Bendigo Animal Welfare & Community Services

The photo attached to this post is to demonstrate what a state government approved puppy factory with 50 female dogs looks like. It’s a still from a video our team took with our drone. The kennel layout is similar to the one proposed in this current permit application before Mount Alexander Shire Council

Clearly state government approved puppy factories are no life for our companion animals
Please lodge an objection
