Have you ever seen the 3rd eyelid at work other than when your bunny is nervous or trying to see behind themselves? At 59seconds into this clip, Fini wakes up from her sweet nap and you can see that 3rd eyelid quickly tuck back into the corner of the eye.

Let me share some epic floofiness that I’ve encountered recently. Here with my sweet little bestie Shiro is a huge pile of floof that had been tormenting her. Shiro gets groomed every 6-8weeks by me and her mum brushes her regularly too. This hooooj pile is a result of Shiro’s body saying “nope” to her coat, it wasn’t catering to her needs, she needed to dump it and create a new one. Shiro is an artist, and she needs a new design stat.

Happy Mother’s Day to bunny mums everywhere. It’s highly likely your bunny is snoozing in a semi hidden spot atm, but they appreciate you on this day just as much as any other day, just for being their mum and doing all things that come with that. Your bunny loves you.

Betty: buy a chocolate bunny. You don’t need to brush them, shear them, or trim their nails.
Harry: and you won’t be called a murderer for eating a chocolate bunny.
Betty-Boop and Harry are a couple of the easiest to handle bunny friends that I have the pleasure of grooming. No attitude, no thumping at me, no fighting, eats straight after grooming. Just the best❤️

“Oui Oui, come and buy mine pawfectly tempered chocolait”, coaxed Shoog, for she was very proud of the splendid work she put into her latest creations.
Shoog was adopted after going on a successful bunny date with Floof. She is finally mellowing and allowing everyone to love on her after placing her hoomins on probation for a couple of years. I’d like to think maybe I played a little part in this by handling and showing Shoog that there’s a much more annoying hoomin than her own hoomins at home, and that she survived the disgusting kisses and snuggles from that stinking hoomin so it’s not all doom and gloom🤭

Look who got their pawdicure on today “Got them nails as short as short as can be so daddy doesn’t need to book me in for a pawdicure for a couple of months”.

My bunny friends are never scared for the quick photo sesh. They already know they’re safe with me and I’ve already helped them feel good, so the rapport is there, the trust is there, and I don’t give off unsure feels. You gotta feel in control of the situation if you want your bunny to trust you. How do I built rapport with my friends? Well, it’s really just intuition and being open minded about how a bunny can be.

Why do I take photos during and after grooming? What you might not know is that I snap pics during and after grooming and sometimes capture precious moments of my bunny friends being held by their pawrents, (especially when it doesn’t happen without my help). So many fun memories. They all get sent to the pawrents. I only share a few cute pics. But the memories are really for the families who entrust me with the care of their bunnies.

Bunnies aren’t JUST CUTE, or just an animal, or something that someone OWNS. Bunnies are a LIVING BEING, a LIFE, and they are for life. So love your bunny with everything you have, and hopefully, when life changes or gets more busy, rehoming the beloved bunny isn’t an option. Bunnies don’t take up much room, only what you give them. They don’t require expensive food or treats, just hay and grass and a small amount of greens is enough. If you wanna travel, there’s bunny boarding (so save up for that too, it’s part of the cost of the holiday).
