Could your family be part of the next chapter of Sebtus?

We’re looking for a small number of families who genuinely love poodles, enjoy sharing real life and would like to work with us as Sebtus grows beyond breeding into education, after-care and lifelong family support.

This is our Sebtus Ambassador Family Program.

We’re interested in families who can show the real journey.

The good days.
The learning days.
The grooming.
The training.
The adventures.
The relationship that develops between a poodle and their people.

We’re especially interested in hearing from families with children, neurodivergent families and people who believe that choosing the right dog is about much more than appearance.

This isn’t a first-come, first-served offer and it isn’t a puppy sales post.

It’s about finding a small number of well-matched families who align with what Sebtus is becoming.

Selected families will work closely with us through the Sebtus Academy, with education, guidance and ongoing support as we document what raising a confident companion actually looks like.

Bringing your poodle home is only the beginning.

At Sebtus, we believe responsible breeding shouldn’t finish when a family walks out the door with their new companion.

That’s why we’re building something more.

The Sebtus Academy.

A growing education and after-care program designed to support families through the real experience of living with and raising a poodle.

From settling in and building routines, to grooming, behaviour, confidence, socialisation and understanding the individual dog in front of you, our goal is simple:

Better prepared families. Better understood poodles. Stronger relationships.

We work with Toy, Miniature and Standard Poodles, and we’re particularly passionate about supporting children, neurodivergent people and neuro-affirming families who may benefit from a more individual approach.

Because there isn’t one perfect way to raise every dog.

And there isn’t one type of family a poodle needs to fit into.

After more than 15 years with poodles and years of working alongside children, young people and families, we’re bringing those two worlds together in the next chapter of Sebtus.

Sebtus is becoming more than where your journey starts.
We want to be there as your family grows together.

We’re looking for extraordinary families.

Sebtus has always been about poodles. But what happens after a poodle joins a family matters just as much to us.

That’s why Sebtus is growing.

Through the Sebtus Academy, our after-care and ongoing family support, we want to help people understand their poodle, build confidence and navigate the everyday things that come with raising one.

We’re now inviting expressions of interest from a small number of suitable families to become part of our Sebtus Ambassador Family Program.

We’re particularly interested in families who value education, genuine connection and sharing real life with their poodle. We welcome neurodivergent and neuro-affirming families and understand that every household, child and dog is different.

This isn’t about a perfect Instagram home. We want real families and real life.

Sebtus works with Toy, Miniature and Standard Poodles, with support extending well beyond the day your poodle comes home.

Sometimes support starts with conversation.

Sometimes it starts with feeling safe enough to simply sit beside someone.

Over the years, one of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been seeing how calm, emotionally stable dogs can help create connection in ways that feel natural and non-judgemental, especially for neurodivergent young people and families.

Recently, Ricki and Elsa joined me at a FROGS Diversity Group through Headspace Bendigo, where we spent time connecting with young people through quiet interaction, curiosity, conversation and companionship.

This is a huge part of why Sebtus exists.

Not just to raise beautiful poodles, but to raise dogs capable of living confidently in real homes, real communities and real life.

Temperament, emotional stability and everyday integration have always mattered deeply to our program.

I’m incredibly grateful to Headspace Bendigo for the opportunity and for the kind feature in their newsletter.
