Little Taffy is doing so well! What a miracle kitty. He is thankfully eating so well and putting on weight. Taf finished his meds on sunday. He does still have some runny 💩 Hopefully, this is just his poor, tiny tummy healing. We will check his 💩 again to make sure there is no more giardia later this week along with his weekly b12 injection. 🧡🧡🧡

Little Taffy is only just holding on. He's sadly losing weight and still has horrible diareah. Taffy went back to the vet today. Since he isn't thriving, we decided to say goodbye. Such a crazy amount of emotions today. Later in the afternoon, the vet rang back and said his stool sample came back positive for Giardia. And Taffy was still fighting. We are to start him back on more meds to treat the Giardia and give him till Friday . If he has lost weight and still has horrible poo, the kindest thing is to let him go. Keep fighting, little man. Please, everyone, keep him in your thoughts. If you can also donate towards his medical, treatment, food, and cleaning supplies, please, I need all the help I can.
Thank you all for so much love for little coral reef and to all the love and support🧡🧡

Rest easy, Coral Reef💓

Last night, we had to say goodbye to our sweet little girl. She declined so quickly and unexpectedly, and even though we tried everything, her tiny body couldn’t keep fighting.

Coral Reef was the gentlest soul. In between the hard times, she still loved playing with toys and wrestling her brother. She was able to enjoy warm wet food and formula like it was the best thing in the world.

She was only here for a short time, but she filled our hearts. We’ll miss her so much. Thank you for the light you brought us, Coral. Run free now, little one 🌈

The little babies have started on another medication and probiotics along with a specialised diet to help firm up that horrible 💩! They have graduated from the bottle to now lapping milk themselves (also eating/ swimming in the wet food, haha!) Thankfully, they have an appetite. But they are still very underweight at 4 weeks old, only weighing 300g.

Please send all your love and support. If anyone is able to help with donations towards medical bills, food, or cleaning supplies, this will be so helpful.

Looking after neonatal kittens is exhausting, but looking after neonatal kittens with a serious illness is unbelievably exhausting. I need all the help even if you can not donate, sending love, sharing menbs so much!

We need your help! 🧡🧡🧡

Sorry for the lack of updates on our tiny babies. It's been a BIG week! So much cleaning, feeding, medicating, bathing. Did I say cleaning!? Sadly, the kittens are still very sick. Leaking 💩 sick! They have had to go back to the vet multiple times. We have started on more medication to treat a microscopic parasite.

How can you help
1. Send so much love!
2. Support, sharing links to donations, etc
3. Donate towards medical expenses
4. Donate towards cleaning supplies (puppy pads. We are going through over 10 a day! Gloves. That's the same multiple gloves daily, rubbish bags, and F10 to disinfect everything.
5. Donate towards food supplies

Please keep these sweet babies in your thoughts. 🤞🧡🧡🧡

Renley update!!
He sadly had to go back to the vet as he was urinating blood everywhere! Poor boy. So we started him on extra pain relief and an anti-inflammatory. Thankfully, over the weekend, he's perked up! The vet also mentioned it might be a good idea to start Renley on an anti anxiety medication. This would be a long-term thing in hopes it will reduce any more stones or UTI.

THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE FOR YOUR LOVE, DONATIONS, AND SO MUCH SUPPORT 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Sadly our little kittens are not thriving. After they started refusing bottles, vomiting and Diareah it has been confirmed they are likely battling coccidia.

Coccidia in kittens this young is devastating. Their immune systems aren’t developed yet, and survival rates can be as low as 20-50%. It’s one of the main causes of “fading kitten syndrome.”

At the vet, they were given
✨ Vitamin B12 injections to boost them
✨ Subcutaneous fluids for dangerous dehydration
✨ Their first dose of anti-coccidia medication

The vet said we’re doing everything we can, but the next 48 hours are critical. They will be back at the vet tomorrow for more fluids.

I won’t give up on them. But I can’t do this alone.
If you’re able to help, donations toward their treatment would mean the world. Every money donated goes straight to meds, fluids, and round-the-clock care to beat these odds.

Renley Update!

The vet checked his urine sample, and it was full of bacteria. That means Renley has a UTI. She also did a quick ultrasound and could see some sediment, which confirms there are stones in there. We don’t know how many or how big yet.

The plan
We’re treating the UTI with antibiotics first. In 2 weeks, he’ll go back for a flush to try to clear the stones. After that, we’ll have a much better idea of size and if anything further is needed. 🤞🤞🤞

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love, shares, and donations. Keep sending our boy good vibes. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

🚨Renley needs your help🚨

💔💔💔💔Our boy Renley was rushed to Melbourne Cat Vets today. He had blood in his urine, was straining, and only passing tiny wees. We’re so worried his stones are back.

The vet sent him home on pain medication, but he’s being admitted tomorrow for ultrasound, x-rays, and tests to further investigate what we’re dealing with.

After having a long chat with his vet, it is sadly, very likely he has stones again, and they are either likely too big / too many to flush. so he will need another cystotomy surgery.

I’m unsure what to do if he requires another cystotomy... how many can his little body handle? This is such a hard decision, and I’m so heartbroken.

Tomorrow’s investigation estimate alone is $782.00 - $990.20

Renley can’t do tomorrow without you. If you can spare $5, $10, or anything, it all goes straight to Renley’s care.

Thank you for being his village. I’ll update you all as soon as I know more tomorrow.🧡🧡🧡
