📣 Upcoming Nurse Consultation Days📣

Bayswater Vet Hospital will be offering nurse consultations on Tuesday the 11th and Wednesday the 12th of August while some of our team take part in further education.

These education days help us to continue improving, stay current, and make sure we’re giving your pets the quality care they deserve.

🍫🐶 Chocolate and dogs don’t mix — but this clever girl is now safe and sound.

After a sneaky snack, she visited us for treatment.

Dr Rachel was able to induce vomiting to bring up all of the chocolate, then administered activated charcoal, which binds to any remaining toxins in the stomach and intestines to help stop them being absorbed.
Activated charcoal can get a little messy — hence Wasabi’s gorgeous outfit and fabulous hair‑do in the left‑hand photo — but it’s an important part of keeping pets safe after accidental toxin ingestion.

She recovered beautifully and was able to go home the same day.

If your pet ever eats something they shouldn’t, call us straight away — early action makes all the difference!
