🐾 MASTER BENJI & MISS LOUISE — JUST GOOD MATES 🐾

Master Benji, our Master of Zoomies, has slowed the engines right down today… apparently there is some serious research to be done. 🔎🐶

And joining him on his inspection rounds is fellow frequent-flyer, lovely Louise.

You could be forgiven for thinking these two were brother and sister — they look so alike — but nope… just good friends. ❤️

And perhaps that’s what I love most about watching them.

They don’t have to be constantly playing or following one another. Benji investigates his To Do List, Louise tends to hers… then they pass, quietly acknowledge each other — “Yep, you’re still there” — and carry on.

Together, but independent.
Connected, but doing their own thing.

There’s something rather lovely about that kind of trusted companionship.

No fuss. No demands. Just the quiet comfort of knowing your mate is somewhere nearby. 🐾❤️

And perhaps another little lesson in enhancing our humanity through our animals — connection doesn’t always need our constant attention. Sometimes it simply needs trust, space, and the quiet reassurance that someone we care about is nearby. 💕

Miss Evie — our resilient three-legged wonder — was never going to let a little handicap interfere with moving forward. ❤️

And right now, she is definitely moving forward… straight for that door! 🏃‍♀️💨

Holiday finished. Home awaits. And apparently there is urgent business to attend to…

Those bothersome scrub turkeys have had quite enough freedom on Evie’s home turf. 🦃😂

Three legs.
One determined little lady.
And absolutely NO unauthorised turkeys.

🦴 The Cora Chronicles — BUSY… DO NOT DISTURB! 🦖🐾

Our shy rescue girl Cora absolutely loves her Miss Lucy… particularly when Miss Lucy arrives bearing Cora’s favourite delicacy — what we affectionately call “a dinosaur bone!” 😂

Once that ginormous marrow bone arrives, Cora’s diary is officially cleared for the next few days.

And there’s method in her magnificent chewing madness too — all that serious gnawing helps scrape away the build-up on those pearly whites, leaving Cora’s mouth looking wonderfully clean.

Then, of course, with that beautiful fresh Cora face one simply wants to kiss her all over. 💋❤️

Cora’s tail starts wagging…and I can almost hear her thinking:

“Alright Rosemary… I’ll give you ten minutes to stop.” 🛑😂🐾
