🐾✨ DOG GROOMING TIP OF THE WEEK ✨🐾

💅 DON’T FORGET THE DEW CLAWS! 🐶

They may be tiny… but dew claws can cause BIG problems when they’re overlooked! 👀

Unlike the other nails, dew claws often don’t touch the ground, so they don’t naturally wear down.
That means they can keep growing until they become long, curved and uncomfortable — and in some cases can even grow into the paw pad. 😬🐾

✂️ When checking your dog’s nails, always check those little side claws too!

🔎 Keep an eye out for:

• Overgrown or curling nails
• Cracks or splits
• Nails catching on bedding or furniture
• Redness or irritation around the claw
• A dew claw getting close to, or touching, the paw pad

💡 A quick paw check between grooming appointments can make a big difference!

And remember… those sneaky little dew claws are very good at hiding! 😂🐾

The smallest of the litter… but don’t let her size fool you! 😂

This little lady runs the show, calls the shots and quite possibly has her humans trained better than we do! 👑🤣

Bailee is a true Mamma’s girl — although she does keep a spare human on standby… because a girl needs options! 😂😂

🌿☀️ Warmer Weather = Tick & Flea Season! 🕷️🪰

As the weather warms up, our furry friends become more exposed to ticks and fleas — and these pesky little hitchhikers can cause much more than an itchy scratch! 😬🐶

🔍 Make regular checks part of your routine:

🐾 Check your dog after walks, especially around the ears, neck, armpits, belly and between the toes.

🪮 Regular brushing and grooming can help you spot unwanted visitors early.

🏡 Don't forget their environment — bedding, blankets and favourite resting spots can harbour fleas too!

💊 Keep your dog's tick and flea prevention up to date with a product recommended for your pet.

⚠️ Ticks can be particularly dangerous, so if you find one attached, remove it promptly and seek veterinary advice if you're unsure what to do.

✨ A clean, well-groomed pup is easier to check — and prevention is always better than cure!

Tigger and his dad are regulars on the streets, and Tigger knows EVERYONE! 👋😂
