🌸🐾 SPRING IS HERE — AND SO ARE THE ITCHES! 🐾🌸
As the weather warms up, many pets can start to suffer from seasonal allergies. Just like us, dogs and cats can react to things in their environment — including pollen, grass, plants and dust.
👀 Signs your pet may be suffering from allergies:
• Scratching or excessive licking
• Red, irritated or inflamed skin
• Chewing at their paws
• Frequent ear infections or itchy ears
• Hair loss or thinning coat
• Rubbing their face or body
• Recurrent skin infections
🌿 What can you do?
Regular grooming and bathing can help remove allergens from your pet’s coat. Keeping bedding clean and washing paws after outdoor adventures may also help reduce exposure.
If your pet is constantly itchy, uncomfortable or developing sore skin, don’t just put it down to “spring allergies”. Fleas, parasites, infections and other skin conditions can cause similar signs.
👩⚕️ Our team can help determine what’s causing your pet’s itch and discuss the best treatment to get them comfortable again.
Don’t let your pet suffer through spring — itchy isn’t normal! 💕🐶🐱
