Towel donations needed! 🧺

We’re currently running low on our towel supply and would appreciate any donations from our wonderful community.

Clean towels and small blankets provide warmth, comfort and bedding for patients during their stay with us.

If you have any old towels or small blankets laying around that you no longer need, please consider donating them! 💙

Thank you CVH community! 🐾

Hot weather warning! 🔥🐱

Cats may enjoy laying around in the sun but hot weather poses a risk to our furry friends. With a hot weather warning been issued, here’s some ways to avoid heartstroke:

☀️ Always provide fresh water
☀️ Keep cats inside during hotter parts of the day
☀️ Ensure your cat can escape the sun, into a shady area
☀️ Never leave cats in cars

Heatstroke is a medical emergency and requires immediate veterinary intervention. Below are some common signs of heatstroke:

🔥 Restlessness
🔥 Panting
🔥 Drooling
🔥 Collapse
🔥 Disorientation
🔥 Vomiting and diarrhea
🔥 Seizures

It’s important to keep our cats cool, safe and comfortable during the summer months! 🐱💦
